This song and movie was beyond the comprehension of many because it is the story of a man who is finding for solace broken from inside, facing his fear daily knowing he has no one to love to and returns to an empty home... There are many ppl living like this in solitude... Meet such a man and you will come to know how SRK has portrayed those emotions so beautifully. I think the audience was not mature enough to understand that. And this song captures all those emotions beautifully. 😑

This movie was felt by the people who are staying abroad and missing homeland.... by people who are not loved by anyone and feeling emptiness in life....by the people who have a fear of losing someone or has already lost someone..... although the plot was not so strong but I guess these are the things why some people loved it... this movie didn't like by typical masala movie lovers neither by the people who never felt the pain i mentioned above (thankfully.... and I wish nobody have to go through that pain...)

While watching this movie, my live for srk just increased exponentially... the way he portrayed the character dil jeet liya sirji aapne.. pta ni aap ki film log kyu ni dekhte, but as I always say box office numbers don't matter to king...

I had went to watch this movie alone since no one was willing to come due to all the negative publicity around this movie..
But to my surprise Jab Harry Met Sejal was House Full and next screen was playing Toilet ek Prem Katha which was empty...
I wondered from where these negative publicity comes in....
I must say after watching this movie, I was left totally blank and it made me so silent for a while lost in my thoughts... I came out with the character of SRK in my mind, which he has so beautifully played... That's the magic of this director... He makes his character so deep... His characters need people who can think and are loyal to emotions...
This was simply a great movie in itself... And I am glad looking at the comments section that I am not alone...

its ok i think this song was added after complete filming, and as the film didnt do that well she was bound to forget as these actors make and consume so much content. if she would have recognized to tone the line was said then maybe she could have recalled. i loved this song

This movie is a therapy and addiction both❤. Its soo soothing,fresh, fun and romantic which u can enjoy every weekend. it brings calm,takes u to another world. Its actually a very very passionate love story💘. And its so addictive. the moment u finish it, u wanna watch it again. i dont know why? Shahrukh's charm, story or beautiful locations and songs! Its just perfect. One of the best movies of Imtiaz ali and i am glad Shahrukh did it❣.Not everybody can understand this movie. Its an emotion really. And this song is just so refreshing🤗
Its about story line mainly...direction...which leads to overflow of emotions....and no doubt about SRK acting through his eyes......trust me. Although, it is just a movie, but the story line is true in real-life too when a person without a dream and aim with loads of torment inside him start suddenly falling in love to see that there is no togetherness at the end....that is the exact emotion, the director has made SRK to do and he just did fantastic job without any doubt.....If you leave aside the bollywood ending together at the end, this is a real story of many common people in our country as well as any other country too....I guess.....have you read the lyrics of this song....did you felt the emotion behind it...just think of the composer and beauty of his thought process......you know...I can write thousand things about this beautiful movie....but in short.....I love everything about this movie....perhaps I get my own reflection in the storyline...Have a good day

I love this song so much. The best song of this album. It's a very subtly and simply melodious song. I have tears in my eyes while writing this, coz of the impact it creates. A beautiful duet, Nikhita Gandhi builds up in a soothing way, before Mohit Chauhan raises the tempo with his class. Irshad Kamil's lyrics are out of this world, so simple yet so intense. 2 lines really impact me, 1 is 'khali hai jo tere bina... ' other is 'humse jaane kyu bejawah... '. I can never get bored of listening to GHAR. It was my top listened song in 2022.
PS: I was heartbroken then and it used to make me cry every single time I would listen to this since my ex had introduced me to this song.

I dont care what some people say, srk played so well in this movie. Sometimes his expression or his eyes alone were enough to feel it the sadness. It's such a beautiful mixture of little moments, I loved the slow pace. It wasn't everything at once, as it tends to be in a lot of his movies. Immediately bought the DVD, def gonna recommend it and watch it again. The music suits the whole movie so well! I hope he does more like this.
