Compact, subjective enough to not just seem like a blue post and objective enough to let you make up your own mind, and all the tiny videos of specs really show how much work was put into this. Keep this quality up and I see no way you won't grow immensely during legion! :)
I'm absolutely loving the more frequent uploads, Tuskeh! I'm very excited for there to be new content coming to WoW not only for myself to play but for my favorite WoW youtubers such as yourself to make videos about :D
Tuskeh i want to thank you so much much for making these videos, you helped me when i was getting into raiding and you helped me with making my UI and now preparing me for leigon, your a top bloke and i thank you for sharing you intense amount of knowledge with us. your seriously a awesome person thank you
Dang it all, Tuskeh! I've already have several alts and now I'm wanting to try some other classes. Great job! You're energetic and you make it sound so exciting to play.
Just like with all the other expansions this one turns everything on it's head. No problem. I will relate my experience with the few characters I have done so far. 1) Havock Demon Hunter: This New class is fun! Very mobile and powerful. You can turn the tide in an invasion scenario just by yourself! You WILL die. Healing is mostly based on absorbing the spent energy/mana/whatever from your vanquished foes, and they don't all leave that! As a heroic class you can kill 100 elites, it just takes longer and more care. I made mine an engineer, and use missiles, grenades, shields everything to improve the odds. 2) Assassination Rogue: They took away the regeneration perk, so now you are 2 steps closer to death at all times! You have a "Potion" heal perk that renews every 30 seconds. That combined with bandages and healing elixers can just keep you on your feet. Poison is still pretty potent. It WILL kill your enemy...it just takes time! You can't feign death, and so now "Vanish" is your survival card. They took away the fast dagger throw, and replaced it with a slower one that can put your poisons on the target. It's not too bad as a ranged alternative, but a nerf nonetheless. 3) Shadow Priest: Now everything is on it's head! Insanity and Void states are the thing. Getting enough insanity to morph into void state is the object...then you can kill pretty fast lobbing void bolts at your opponent while refreshing your DOT'S. It's a NEW learned lesson in rotations, cooldowns, etc. 4) Enhancement Shaman: Much more "In Your Face" fighting, less totems, and real restrictions on ranged combat. You are switching fire/cold/wind etc. so fast it's hard to keep up with. The DPS seems rather marginal. The ONLY ranged option you have is lightning bolt, and it refreshes rather slow. Heals are marginal, and you have to retreat from time to time to time to stay alive and get back in the fight. Gear is important and does make a difference in how you can stand up to the invasion!
I have to disagree with you on Mistweaver. It lost its AOE heals and channel ability, that made the spec so unique. Mw in Legion is more of a generic caster healer than of swift "weaving" monk. Other than that, great video. Please keep up! :]
+Tuskeh Yeah, they do. But it was turned from a twist on a basic "Slow but mana efficient heal" to an annoying passive HoT. And it lost it's utility as a channel for more powerful spells. It's a subjective thing, ik, but I hope WW would put out a good dps, so no one will ask me to respec into MW. Ever. After a week of mythic dungeons and normal raids testing, I don't want to play it even for one fight.
I don't mind it being changed to a HoT like it is, but having it target by using so many other abilities is clunky and awkward as all hell in that form. Want to keep Soothing Mist on a tank? Have fun not healing anyone else.
This was the first video I've watched from you. Really good editing and visuals. The style u speak is very fitting for the content you create. Sub from me, I know what I'm gonna watch after i finished my shift. :)!
Yeah, I used to main one until the changes, new Soothing Mist is such a slap in the face. Although people say they still have fun with Mistweaver, it became painfully dull and shallow to me.
Depends on how you play. I have great results with the Rising Thunder talent, which makes you use some sort of DPS rotation in between the healing. Also i close to never run out of mana.^^
Dear Tuskeh, firstly I want to thank you for your fantasic videos. They are just too cool! ^^ I also want to ask for your help. I'm preparing for Legion hard and one of the things I'm going to do is improving my UI. And what is the best UI for elemental shaman like me if not Tuskeh's one! So could you please make your Ui archive open for us? Sorry, if I'm asking too much (you're very busy now, I guess, escpecially with PTL videos). Thank you again!
Tipp for legion: get a water strider. The Warlords one is the faster one to get and its a shit grind fest but legion has LOADS of water, so having the strider and possibly the waterturtle for faster swim speed is really usefull.
I was able to sell off most of my WoD mats making around 20k gold :3 I know thats like a drop in the bucket these days, but Im pretty proud of myself for getting that much, and being able to go into Legion with a total of 85k. But I really really need to set up a proper UI D:
im really thinking switching my main to druid because feral is like the rogue in the sense of stealth and bleeds however there aoe isnt that good so id probably also have balance because i think there still good at aoe
anyone else notice there was no "cons" on classes? like what most people don't like or what he feels sucks about the class. all i saw was a broad description of the classes. I myself find trouble in figuring out what to main in legion and i know people say play what you feel is fun and when you have been playing since vanilla all classes seem equally fun so any suggestion would help atm im sooting towards a rogue.
I prefer not to discuss downsides too much. They exist, naturally, but I prefer to focus on the cool things (that I feel don't get enough attention). Rogues are great fun, I'd definitely recommend giving them a shot!
As someone who isn't that sure what to main in legion aswell this is what i did: I watched a lot of Videos about the different specs before the prepatch went live just to see what is to come. I can really recommand the channel of FinalbossTV, since he gives you a great indepth-videos about every spec, giving his pros and cons in talent choice and shows different synergies. Keep in mind, that his videos are a bit older therefore some changes were done between then and now. But until Tuskeh uploads his, you really should watch these videos. Also, the most important thing is to play yourself. Pick a class/spec you're interested in and go crazy with it. Try different talent choices, get into your rota, play dungeons, maybe even raid. This obviously takes a lot of time, especially if you haven't leveled the classes yet. But now is the best time since the invasions give you a hell lot of EXP, making leveling easy and fast. Also, the gear inside the treasure boxed do level with your char. So keep them until your Char reaches Lv 100, then open all your boxed at once and you have a GS of (about) 700 right away and can even start to raid^^
Tuskeh, great video! One question though... the profession guides I have seen have told me that I don't need to bother leveling a profession at all before the expansion since the profession leveling is a completely different system in Legion. With that in mind, I have been focusing on other things. Can you explain how my Legion professions would benefit from 700 before jumping in the xpac?
It's mostly a completion thing for me - I'll be honest and say that I don't know too much about how professions are going to work in Legion (yet, I'm researching it for a future video!), but I've always been of the mindset that preparing professions for a new expansion is a good idea. If I'm wrong, I'll mention it in my professions video (which will be out in a couple of days!). Thanks!
I'm so bad at disc been trying to get the hang of it for days and can't do it do kinda like I'm going to play holy for the first time in years. my main will likely be enh so no big deal I guess.
The way you prepare for Legion is; 1. Turn off WoW and uninstall 2. Start playing on a private server. Congrats you've prepared yourself for the inevitable disappointment Legion will inevitably will be.
You simply talking about any class/spec sells me on all of them.
The enthusiasm is contagious

Out of all the WoW you tubers I watch your video editing and the way you go into detail explain things about wow is the best and first class
Always exited when I see tuskeh on my recent uploaded subs
Damn Tuskeh! Your summaries of all the classes made me wanna play them all!

Amazing video mate. If you keep this up at the start of and during legion your channel will grow fast and alot! gl in the future tuskeh!
I must say, the editing on this video is superb. Good job and keep it up!

very nice succinct video to recap all the classes. I like the quicker recap style of all the classes. thumbs up!
Dang it all, Tuskeh! I've already have several alts and now I'm wanting to try some other classes. Great job! You're energetic and you make it sound so exciting to play.
A great video as always, and very helpful for people like me who have been a bit stuck as to which class they want to take into Legion.
An excellent video :) :) I LOVE how enthused you sound and that you clearly love what you do :)
So pretty much all classes are good and awsome and everyone is happy and unicorns are everywhere,
so informative...
Gosh, how I miss hearing your voice. Great video. Keep them coming. Pray all is well with you and your family.
These videos are really informative, thanks Tuskeh!

You guys have fun with all that.
Been a long time since hunters had melee weapons. Happy about this change :D
Awesome video man. You got me doubting again about what class to main xD
I speak for my fellow survival hunters and say thanks for the shoutout!
Holy crap Tuskeh, this looks amazing for a class video, nice ^^
great video mate! keep up the good work!

I agree.. I loved MW once.. after going back after the patch I struggle with it in any situation other than questing.. and I use to like it in MOP
I actually like Mistweaver now a hell of a lot more than i have in the past. the passive channel is w/e but the rest of the spec feels great.
