Im stuck getting the last part of the mechanism to work. Could you post the modifications you made?

I am inspired to try on my smaller 3d printer😍

Is there any way you can slow down the energy release? Seems to me that you might be able to get a much longer run time if you can do that. But a very nice job on the sculpture.

I agree. It's definitely not perfect and could use further improvements. It's not my model design and there are some things I would change to make it more efficient such as what you mentioned, but it has been invaluable to help me understand how this model's engage and release mechanism works.

@@TimmaethBoy Even so, you are light-years ahead of me. I am still trying to understand the mechanism for controlled energy release. Have not tried to build anything yet with it.

@@santanulahiri719 Check the link in the description to the maker's model. Even if you don't have access to a 3D-printer, you may be able to figure out how the mechanism works - at least his interpretation of it.

@@TimmaethBoy Thank you. I'll do that.

Man this is so cool! Is that link in the description how to print it? I'm saving up for a printer, definitely going to try this out when I buy one

The link has the STL files you need to print everything. Some tweaking is required to get it to work properly though. I wouldn't recommend doing this for your first print, but it's not too bad.

Did you modify the aesthetics of the design or the escapement mechanism? Looks really cool!

I modified the arms and base slightly to fit my needs. I didn't like the fact that they uploaded a low-res version of the model. There's also a few areas that need improvement like the contact points on the escapement mechanism, but it saved designing everything from scratch, so can't complain too much.

Sorry but I voted that I hated it because who can afford a 3D printer! If this guy would make these & sell them Online; I would definitely buy one+

They're pretty affordable nowadays my dude. The cheaper ones will require a lot more tinkering to get working properly though. You don't have to like the video though, I'm good with that.
