I like it too. I ordered it after watching Marco 4U's review (he likens it to vampires and evil 🙄), and just received it today. Another channel (The Tried Truth) compared it to John Varvatos' Dark Rebel, which, to my nose, is an apt comparison. Anyway, I think it's as good as you say. 👍

Im just getting into Middle Eastern fragrances and I blind bought Midnight Oud after hearing you say in a different video that it was such a relaxing scent second only to Starwalker (i LOVE Starwalker, its in my top 5 favorites) I have to say, Midnight Oud is EXCELLENT. Olibanum is my favorite note in fragrences and its got plenty of that with some smoke in the background. Midnight Oud is right up my alley, but i dont think its a safe blind buy for most people. I think Maahir black edition might be what i try next, because of that olibanum in the mid, smoke in the base, and hearing you talk so highly of it. THANK YOU for the great reccomendations, man!

Got this coming on the way. I figured since maahir legacy (silver bottle)was good pdm sedley clone then i gotta try black edition. I got bentley for men intense and that one is awesome, but its a love or hate. Just found your channel. You give very good and detailed reviews. Thank you!
@@PRScents So wow, off the bat the initial spray was a refined upscale ashtray lol, but as it settles on the skin drydown starts to smooth itself. It's a yes for me! I like fragrances that stand out in my collection. I also got bois sikar by Atelier Des ors. It's initial opening is bbq pitt/ hot dogs like what most say and it is that smell. As bois sikar dries down its as if you were at a campfire and the campfire scent sticks with the clothes. So my cheapie tobacco and my not so cheapie tobacco turned out good for me. I'm on a hunt for a couple more cigar scent like fragrances.
I know encre nior by lalique is fire. I hated it at first. Buy now def love it. In your opinion if i like ENL do you feel ill like it.. just your opinion
Does it really smell like Encre Noir? Lots of earthy vetiver?? Because then I'll just get that frag, but if it is actually a very unique/stand alone scent profile then I'll be interested in blind buying it!! Thanks! Great review, i find this one challenging scent indeed. Just like i mentioned it is similar to jv dark rebel, i find it to be more male than female the original maahir is more crowd pleasing oud rose scent that is a safer unisex choice. Keep up the good work
Dark Rebel is definitely challenging. However I realized that the dry down is where the best spot is. Perhaps a hour later after initial spray. 2 to 3 the most. But I agree with you

Ok o have this one now. I have had it since Christmas of 23. So after a few months I find that I like it and that I don’t at times. This scent has a little funk to it.

Such a challenging scent. I want to love it but there's not many instances where I think Iwould be able to pull this off. This would benefit with some resins and a bit of sweetness to round it off in my opinions.

The Oud is light on this one. The smoke is what is very prominent. Not sure about EF since I've never smelled it. This one is challenging but so damn good! At least to me.
I bought this also from Jomashop, along with 5 other Lattafa fragrances. I don't care for them. This one I cannot wear, cannot get past the black pepper opening. If you want to smell like you smoke cigarettes, you can wear this. I will be giving my bottle away. But to whom? And I do like tobacco fragrances, love my Red Tobacco by Mancera.
I think it really does go in the Encre Noir area. It's that type of dark scent. Not for everyone as EN is. It's not a clone of it, it has many different notes but I do get a very nice Encre Noir type vibe. Totally do.

I think you would. It’s got a heavy smoke scent to it with a graphite smell but it works. Also Bentley for Men Absolute!!!
I just left the Oud Store. Got the Maahir Black ⚫️ It's a smoke BOMB 💣 It CHANGES every 30 minutes. I'm going to give this some serious run ...

Is the oud present please? Does it remind you of Ebene Fume by Tom Ford yeah? I think I would enjoy this fragrance, EF is amazing but too expensive.
