480 was a highway in San Francisco. It was torn down after the 89 earthquake. It went along the Embarcadero in San Francisco. This might be a tribute to the Earthquake ride.
Hi! I’m from the Bay Area originally. I didn’t realize the old Embarcadero Freeway was called 480. I thought Tim was referring to 280 and I was thinking to myself why is he saying 480?
The one silver lining to the 89 earthquake was having to tear down that hulking, ugly & finally broken double decker highway. I worked practically under it in 89, & I’m so happy it’s gone. Many lovely things disappear over time, but this one is a joy to never see any more.
This came at the best time - sitting at Children’s hospital waiting on some tests to be run on my son. They only let one parent in so my husband went while I stayed back with our younger son. We love watching you together!

For reflections on glass i would say you would want a polarizer filter, if you put that on the camera and turn it just right reflections disappear
