Thank you! I have the push on top of a keyboard flight case here, not that glamorous I’m afraid 😎but I usually use this stand - Nayka Laptop Stand Foldable,... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B091M7XJ2K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I’m always looking for the one box to get rid of everything else. Sick of gear. Can the push 3 do harsh noise music? Sample mangling? I am used to Octatrack and Eurorack, but wondering if the Push 3 can replace everything else for me.
Hey, thanks for the comment! Yeah, push 3 can do what you like! It has a few good samplers many amazing audio effects, and I particularly like the granular III instrument to completely change a sample in Brian Eno's ambient magic
hey! is the play button on your push 3 also feels different and kinda weird in some way when pressed? it is definitely different feel than other buttons, like it requires less force and it has this weird annoying click sound and feel... Do you also have slightly different tension on top knobs/encoders?
Hey! Thanks for the comment. Mine feels ok tbh, it does has little click feel to it but nothing out of the ordinary. The encoders are the same too :( have you tried five ableton support an email to see what they say?
@@pushpatterns I mean your video shows a mixing desk of some sort but quarter of it is obscured by a monitor, so I'm not sure how you're using the portion that's out of reach :)
Ya, I keep thinking getting one, but... haha. I am holding off on seeing what either Arturia or Novation put out this year, in terms of Keylab MK3 (non-Essential) or SL MKIV. I don't work on anything really away from my studio and if I get an idea, I can whip out Ableton Note or just record something on my phone and pass it later on. I think the biggest holdup, for me, on Push is how much I can control in Arrangement view. While I might use Session view for a quick idea, I quickly move on to Arrangement view to do the work. It helps keep me from getting stuck in a loop. I have a Nektar Aura for a drum pad and its decent, but definitely not anything to write home about. I have also played keys/piano forever, so a keyboard controller has always made sense. With NI's latest offering to only new purchasers of Komplete 14 - I am done with them, so you won't find me buying any NI controllers.
That is a good point about Arturia and especially Novation! The have been very quite, so something might drop? Yes the note app is wicked i did a video here comparing the similarities in workflow with the Push 3 - th-cam.com/video/HDju69nbFvQ/w-d-xo.html Yes the arrangement view/control is very limiting but I'm sure its something Ableton will grade to in the not so distant future! Have you look at the latest AKAI APC?
😢 It's so 'spensive. Haha. But the synths on Ableton vs. what's available on the MPC.... maaaan even just Drift is on a whoooole other level. Right when I feel like "nah I'd be cool with an MPC" I see one of your Push 3 videos haha.
I feel that, but you can get the controller version first then upgrade to stand-alone at a later day if you feel like it. So cool ableton have us that option!
@@paidinfullproductions7752 You're definitely right, I could definitely be happy with either. Or both eventually. I agree I think Jura sounds great by default. I realized starting from an initialized patch on Tubesynth, Hype, and Odyssey yields better results than the presets haha.

@@EBMZEQUENZER Really thats strange, I found it much more stable than Live 11. Since the 11.3 update my Live 11 had been really buggy and crashing a lot. So can you re type your question, I don't fully understand the problem. Thanks
Great video! I love my Push3. Coming from the Force/MPC Environment.
Good choice! Did you get the standalone?

So, how do you operate the knobs on the console desk UNDER the screen??? :D
Hey, thanks for the comment, I’m not sure I know exactly what you mean! Can you elaborate?

Oh right, I understand now 😂 I have a Midas Verona desk. It looks like it’s a at a strange angle but that’s the way the camera is angled 😊
Hey! Could you pleae make a video about chord progression for beginners on ableton?
Just in general or on the push?
In general :)@@pushpatterns

Next to the Mpc X and Live 2 the Push 2 or 3 is the next best thing. Nothing stands next to those machines
I agree 😊 which do you have?
Thanks for this! Im saving for one of these bad boys.
Great! I’m sure your enjoy it! If you need any help remember sub to the channel! I’ll be posting lots more tutorials :£
nice click bait. Last video I saw from your channel.
In what way?

Ableton Push 2 with MacBook Air M series for best standalone experience 😊
Haha fair point! But it’s really about getting you away from the computer right!?
Is this thing easier to use than Maschine? Native Instruments has some of the worst tutorials I've ever seen.
I think it is easier but I'm really used to using Ableton Live. Have you used Live before?

The Mpc plug in Aura is nice but the others could be a lot better. And ableton 12 is 🔥. But you can’t go wrong with either
Amen! I’m looking forward to all the updates to push 3 this year!
