Being a master basketmaker, I love the hide-covered basket. It's worth every penny and BTW, all baskets are handmade. No one has ever been able to invent a machine that can weave a basket.

Back in the 70s my mother made a decoupage purse like the wooden one with the houses on it that you were considering. It was a popular craft, I think, back in the 70s. I still have the one my mom made.

That heavy "rock" is a frog. What you thought was a sewing box is a decoupaged purse. We all carried them back in my day. It would make a cute sewing box though. I'm pretty sure the little "gnome" is one of the Seven Dwarfs, Bashful. The leprechaun on the leaf is precious. I would have brought him home for personal. He would be such a cute decoration for St Patrick's Day.

I believe they sold for between $50-$70 back then. There were several different styles and artwork varied with the different companies/ artist who produced them. Very popular with the the Pre-preppys back in the 70s.

Secondly, I would love to see you doing laundry and how you manage to wash all of your clothing items; at least an insert about it in one of your videos. I cannot imagine you use one washing machine with all of that inventory.

You were on fire at your stores today !!! I like the smaller thrift and Antique stores you shop at. Because building rent is so high, there are not alot of Independent stores in my area anymore except for Goodwill. I sell at flea markets and its hit/miss with what will sell. I try to buy vintage but stay away from glass due to risk of breakage. I'm training my eye to look for quality, style but low buy in. I'm still new to the game and it's a work in progress.
