There’s a reason, going back to any of the great legends like Roberto Duran, Cesar Chavez, Oscar De La Hoya… all the way to Pacquiao and Mayweather … smaller fighters who want to make a name for themselves (and also money) always end up going to the bigger weight classes where there are more fighters, bigger names, and bigger fights. I love seeing Inoue dispatch his opponents with such skill and intelligence!! It really makes my day! Such speed, accuracy and concentrated power in his punches.
Inoue's lower body is very stable. His punching power must be greatly related to the power of kicking the ground. Furthermore, Inoue's left foot step width and speed completely nullified Fulton's reach advantage.
He def has a perfect stance for power and technical prowess for accuracy and speed .....dude moves differently than anyone else.....he is the def of trained from childhood, through the ranks he climbed .....noone else like him rn in boxing
those calves aint no joke. That's Kinetic linking for you. Also Fulton stance was wayyyy to wide for him to deal with any of Inoue's follow up punches in his combinations. He would just end up flat-footed and stuck after trying to avoid the first punch.
Did anyone have any doubts that this fight would end this way. Fulton is a great fighter but like most of Naoyas opponents he's made to look like an amateur. I haven't been this excited about boxing since Mike Tyson. The monster lives up to his name. I don't think anyone can beat him right now. Amazing fighter.
Most of Japanese knew it would be an easy fight. There is a lot of hardcore boxing fans in Japan. Inoue also said that in an interview that this fight is the biggest fight but Fulton surely is not as tough as other fighters he fought against
This guy is so much better than Floyd. No points playing and running, he's aggressive and dominance asserting while outclassing everyone in speed and technique
This is first time that I see Inoue performs Philly style. Not only that, he did that against the opponent who was born and raised in Philly. How cool it’s that!!
We Japanese never expected Naoya Inoue to do Philadelphia style. In the past, he has also imitated Roy Jones' no-guard technique during matches and performed the Ali Shuffle to excite the audience.

Technique, power, sensation, defense, mentality, all at their highest attainment. I can only imagine an opponent like Mayweather in his prime. Anyone who doubts his #1 ranking in PFP is a fool.
He's incredible and so is Crawford. They are equal #1. They will never meet because of the size difference so there will be no proof, and it's foolish to be certain without proof.
Who is Fulton anyway? I live in the U.S. and never heard of Him. But I know for sure who Inoue is! Pound for pound is elusive because it involves so many weight classes. But in My Cocky opinion , this Guy " Inoue " is the best EVER in His weight class. And If I were to vote on the craftiest, skilled, tenacious, skilled, confident fighter right now, Inoue is in FIRST!!! If What Tim Bradly said about certain hand wraping can make punches 10 times more powerful was true, Inoue managed to make his punches 10 times less powerful by hand wrapping "the U.S way", and wore the most padded gloves, and still KO'ed Fulton. WOW he truely is a monster. Lol
Fulton is a coward who is blatantly trying to step on Inoue's toes. He is known as Fumuton in Japan. The reason is that "step on" is "fumu" in Japanese.

Fulton, he boasts, "I'm the elite among the elite," but elite boxers don't step on their opponents' toes, pretend to be clinches and hold them! When the game is over and there are no sides, it is sportsmanship to praise each other's good work! @@lesliechan68 Inoue's also already 30 years old; he's no longer "growing" into his body, so he's going to have to gain weight slowly in order to build truly functional muscle. Fulton was engaging in some *shenanigans* in this fight - he's got black shoes, on a black mat, and while his rear foot has bright yellow laces, his front foot has black laces. And he spends the first three rounds - until the ref *finally* calls him out for it - trying to, and occasionally succeeding in, tripping Inoue on the advance. In the second and third he's actively stepping on Inoue's toes. Wild to watch the younger man doing this stuff. I remember mike tyson mentioned this japanese fighter as one of his favorite fighters right now a while ago ... and can see why. he truly is a monster. what skill and precision
No,casimero is real.
@@hayakawakazuya Casimero?🐢🐢🤣🤣
Naoya Inoue's drawback is that he has no rivals. I don't know the upper limit of his strength because he always wins overwhelmingly.
I love seeing Inoue dispatch his opponents with such skill and intelligence!! It really makes my day! Such speed, accuracy and concentrated power in his punches.
Monster is generational talent… like pacquaio and Floyd had a baby. Fast hands, great defense, footwork, and power
with the boxing IQ and real-time adjustment abilties of Terence Crawford
Floyd and pacman were better but naoya is special
To all newbies out there... Inoue is just crazy strong cause Fulton is one hell of a fighter
I just noticed how often Fulton would try to step on Naoya’s foot. Weak.
Inoue's lower body is very stable.
His punching power must be greatly related to the power of kicking the ground. Furthermore, Inoue's left foot step width and speed completely nullified Fulton's reach advantage.
His calf...like a tree with roots...and with springs...hard to describe...just amazing.
I heard Andre Ward mention that in one of his previous fights. Been paying attention to that ever since...
He def has a perfect stance for power and technical prowess for accuracy and speed .....dude moves differently than anyone else.....he is the def of trained from childhood, through the ranks he climbed .....noone else like him rn in boxing
Best analysis I've read yet.
those calves aint no joke.
Yeah and he doesn't cherry pick. Just fighting top lvl guys only and knocking them out
@@jessexiong69that’s the good thing, he livin like manny. Pick the bigger and top guys to prove yo self
You would never guess Fulton was any good at all watching this fight
Most of Japanese knew it would be an easy fight. There is a lot of hardcore boxing fans in Japan. Inoue also said that in an interview that this fight is the biggest fight but Fulton surely is not as tough as other fighters he fought against

Japan showed more love for Fulton after the loss than Fulton fans. That's just sad.
They respected Fulton because they know coming over to japan was a disadvantage for him. They appreciated his effort to come over. That's why people supported Fulton warmly. They love boxing and admire those fighters lose or win.
@pass4359, it's simple, he didn't show up like a Champion Should've!

Inoue said after the game that Fulton's foot-stomping is something he normally does, so he can't do it unless he practices.

Mayweather and inoue same as running chicken. Inoue is scared to casimero.

and still KO'ed Fulton. WOW he truely is a monster. Lol
Fulton is a coward who is blatantly trying to step on Inoue's toes. He is known as Fumuton in Japan. The reason is that "step on" is "fumu" in Japanese.

On the real, the one that I don't get is that they say he's never fought anyone. Half of this man's career has been title fights. Not to mention he also skipped weight classes, meaning he could have another decision under is belt. This man is the real deal.
Fan boy status made lol
Inoue KOs the champion so early in the round that people are under the illusion that he is fighting an unknown boxer, and there are many fans who don't have a very accurate perspective on boxing
Look at that speed, they both are incredible
I am 68 and I haven't been this excited since seeing a prime Roberto Duran!

Non contest - Naoya Inoue is in a league of his own - exceptional BOXER - GOAT at this weight division.
Fulton, he boasts, "I'm the elite among the elite," but elite boxers don't step on their opponents' toes, pretend to be clinches and hold them! When the game is over and there are no sides, it is sportsmanship to praise each other's good work! I can't do that, and I don't have the mental space to collect the championship belt before Inoue's press conference! I’ve seen some of Fulton’s bouts before this. He is no pushover. Inoue is just too good, faster, more accurate, powerful and that boxing IQ is really very high. He could have won just by his jabbing and accurate hooks. When Fulton started to get more offensive after round 7, inoue just grabbed his chance with a few explosive shots and Fulton was out.
And if the monster go up to the 135. Bye bye tank or anybody's in the 136
I don’t think he can make it to 135 and keep all that speed if so nobody stands a chance
@@keonhobgood1551 hard to say, 6kg from 55kg(122 lbs) isn’t too far. But of course his opponents will be bigger and stronger too. 140lbs will be hard. He’s just small at 5ft5’.
@@lesliechan68 Inoue's also already 30 years old; he's no longer "growing" into his body, so he's going to have to gain weight slowly in order to build truly functional muscle. Maybe he can go as far as 135 near the end of his prime, but if he manages to do something like become undisputed at both Super Bantam and Featherweight, maybe he won't have to; his legacy would be more than complete as the only person to be undisputed in three divisions.
@@Tenchigumi if he gets undisputed @ 122 & 126 before he reaches 34. I think he might try 130, but maybe not go for undisputed.
Honestly, I had forgotten how many shots Fulton weathered over the course of this fight. He really does have a stellar chin. But there was a sense of inevitability about this from the opening salvo, and it came to pass.
