Yet again, Mantras doesn't miss! I originally got into Nikke for exactly how it advertised itself thinking I'd put it down in a week or two. Still, the story is unironically good and the gacha rates and devs are super generous so it always feels rewarding to play for more than the visuals. I got into Snowbreak a few months after launch and came back for the anniversary a little while ago and it's...very different....but I agree that the gameplay itself is still solid. I've been playing Hoyo games since HI3 in 2017 and I think ZZZ is just as fun and immersive as their other entries, and it fits in well, marketing aside.

You forgot the third type of person calling it a gooner game: the ones who have a pfp and full history of horny games and being horny on main. They tend to deflect as much as they can for example by shittalking artists and people just conversing under the shield of the word "criticism", and deflecting with "I'm not criticizing the game!". Being unashamedly an absolute coomer themselves they just farm clout and positive feedback by attacking art and individuals that even fully lines up with the game's at and direction throwing around buzzwords and name-calling. Most of the noise on social media are just not valid arguements let alone a genuine stance.

The problem here is the audience. The Hoyoverse community is not used to these aspects being pushed. People got thrown for a loop when Jade's trailer happened in HSR. So yeah, Zenless has bigger emphasis on sexual appeal in it's marketing. It's also important to note that there's been an upward trend fanservice as well. I also wouldn't call Snowbreak a 7/10 when it does everything that Nikke does including the jiggle physics during ultimates. And if Nikke is a 10/10, is Brown Dust 2 a 20/10? Funnily enough I was going to rate Snowbreak higher but when I was going through the charactes default outfits I realized they weren't as crazy as Nikke's default outfits, so it dropped a little bit lower on the goon scale. I wanted to include a Brown Dust 2 section but I literally could not show most of the animations in that game without the video being taken down or heavily suppressed so i left it out lmaoo
Listen I love Z3 and all but it leans more Gooner than Genshin and Star Rail. I believe the reason why Z3 is getting hit with these allegations is because the audience is being pulled from Genshin and Star Rail more than any other Gacha. Snowbreak and Nikke are not the go to games for the ppl who are complaining. Genshin and Star Rail pulled in a lot of Normies so now the Normies are experiencing the Whiplash. Even Wuwa stays pretty clean. Hell, the Cinema 6s in Z3 are very suggestive and most of the trailers really zoom in on the "physics" and feet shots. Try just walking with Zhu Yuan, there are other characters too but Z3 only has 5, age appropriate characters to mention.
So to my understanding, it's a lot of people used to a cleaner image exposed to only slightly more mature images, like people going from mayo to mustard and calling it hot sauce.
Most of the noise are not players or even if there is "evidence" of them playing the game they are not playing any other gacha. There is a really weird brigading on the official subreddit r/ZZZ_Official where a lot of absolute tourists that are mostly either not even gamers at all or don't play any game like ZZZ and their other games have zero overlap with it have been coming out of the woodwork to complain about literally everything that's not actually ingame, like cutscenes you can watch on TH-cam, fanart, official artwork, etc. and are trying very hard to just shame and bully the actual community out of the subreddit with little success but being a constant annoyance still. The apparently singular moderator running the subreddit also tries constantly to push ludicrous levels of automoderation and puritan rules of what should and shouldn't be posted, they just can't keep up alone with the subreddit's traffic so it doesn't look as bad as it is because they sweep the subreddit whenever they come online sometimes after days. This spill out to other social media too. This literally just boil down to a few mentally ill keyboard activists cloutchasing backed by a reddit moderator in sole control of the official subreddit
Just give it a few more months so new gachas release and then the normies, and specially haters, will move on to the new trending game. Then, only the true ZZZ fans were will remain, aka people that just want to have fun with the game.

I also play Nikke and doing Nikke Cosplay too got about 20 costume now lol . Nikke is very popular in my country , lots of doujinshi , other fan-made goods and Cosplayer good . I'm not heavily invest in it , mostly play to find character to cosplay . and I heard "blue field" from FF VIII in the background !!

Stellar Blade def is a gooner game but that doesn't make it bad or diminish how well done the combat is. Stellar Blade is one of the best games to come out this year

As I said in the video, Z3 just doesn't have enough sexualization in-game for me to consider it a gooner game, especially when compared to the in-game content of other gacha games that market similarly. For Stellar Blade specifically, I think the sexualization of its main character far surpasses anything done in Z3.

It seems like most of the females in the game have big boobs, exaggerated jiggle physics, and revealing clothing. They also pick camera angles that accentuates the sexiness in cut scenes. The irony is that I prefer to wear the cooler outfits for Eve (despite how limited they are). Never been a fan of overly sexual outfits.
