I liked your idea about recording “Notes to your future self”. These last two weeks my husband and I have been attending Christmas events/experiences (e.g., attending Christmas bars, Christmas lights tours, Christmas movie watching nights, Christmas Winter Craft Fairs). It’s been nice to spend ‘couple’ time together prior to the rush of ‘family’ activities.
Oh that sounds absolutely perfect 😍 Whatever it took to make that happen is definitely worth noting and repeating next year and every year after that!! Hope you continue to thoroughly enjoy the season ❤️
Notes to future self segment resonated with me this week. I have thought this through since watching and decided that next year I will be gifting one nice, quality present to my grown kids. Currently I buy lots of smaller gifts to get that Christmas “look” with presents under the tree. But doing so is way to stressful for me, trying to guess what they will want and like. I would rather concentrate on one quality gift. I am also going to ask for suggestions by November next year. I will also take a look at my decorations storage. Thanks again!
Oh I’m so much with you on the grown kids gifts 🤦♀️ I do exactly the same! Every year I say it and yet every year I fall back into the same old pattern of buying multiple gifts. I especially love the “notes to future self” section!!! 🙌 I created the Christmas journal with tabs you suggested, but I have found I need to do quick brain dumps for what I need to do “now”, shop for “now” etc. Haven’t found myself making the time to switch to that section for notes. Just something I noticed. 😉 Thank u for al your ideas and tips and suggestions though-this has been my most organized and smooth-sailing Christmas yet. Even with many more change-ups-your videos and check ins have helped me to stay on track!

All was great.. focus on 1-2 tasks daily, review gifts and lists and meal planning were high notes. I’ve been doing a notes for next year page which is fantastic! Also your general chatting and seeing your beautiful mantle in background! ❤
