hello
Sounds like a nice 'Giveaway' thanks.
I’ve been waiting for such a long time for an updated rocket infographic. Thanks Newsthink!
This is insane!!
Mars is one step closer with perfect landing of SN15
Texas tank watcher's
Successful? Yes.
Perfect? No.
It almost missed the landing pad, and it was on fire due to a fuel leak. The latter issue is what caused SN10 to RUD. Hopefully they can get that fuel leak issue fixed.
Sean Place It was actually perfect. The off-center landing is not a dramatic thing and can be fixed with software. The „leak“ is actually no leak, but expected after reigniting with current prototypes, because they use methane. John Insprucker also said, that it is going to be fixed, as the system evolves. For the time being, it was exactly what we thought was going to happen, which is perfect.
@@The-Real-Laepi Perfect 10/10? No, but 9.5 is still good enough. :)
@@seanplace8192 SN10s RUD was because of hitting the ground too hard and basically damaging the fuel tank. Even the legs were crushed. SN15 had a soft landing and actually stood on its tiny legs
Videos like this are the reason why TV is dying, and won't be missed. High quality, informative content that would never make it past the execs on most networks, high production value at a fraction of the cost of making it for TV, respectful non-intrusive advertising for a product that is actually relevant to the content, free to watch on demand wherever you are, in 4k, with captions for those that could need it.
Also, your fact checking has improved massively from the early videos. Congratulations on a job very well done.
Daamn I mean I knew that Starship is BIG but that was an awesome way to put it into perspective, it's even larger than I thought :D
And it's, in certain ways, larger than it looks. The other vehicles in the lineup have unpressurized fairings that can accomodate tiny manned capsules inside. Starship is a rocket powered proper ship. It's internal volume is INSANE. Think about it this way: It took 40 missions to put the current ISS into orbit. Starship has the same internal habitable volume as ALL of the ISS, so a single launch could give as a space station as large as the ISS (and in a single volume, which is far better).
In the six decades since the first manned launch, around 500 people have been in space. Starship could put twice that amount of people in orbit a SINGLE flight.
It's a flying skyscraper.
@@MrRoyalG yes although most of the space is consumed by propellant tanks
@Raphaël Duquette 100 is a proposed configuration for interplanetary travel, but Starship could carry more. A Boeing 747 has around 700m3 of internal volume, and can carry 500 people, and it could conceivably carry more. Famously, the most passengers ever on any plane was on a 747, over 1000 passengers during Operation Solomon.
It can handle 1000 people in takeoff weight, probably not on landing though, so it would have to be reduced a bit, but certainly WAY more than 100.
I mean yeah, Spacex has literally been trying to fly and land a grain silo. And two days ago, They Succeeded!!!!
Nice comparison.. and quite on point taken into account that SpaceX managed to land Starship in latest test yesterday which is a big milestone for Starship development.

The thing is sls is better than starship
@@buraqaerospace9945 how though?
Yes block 2 is better if starship is not refueled but if you refuel starship, it doesn't have a rival
Also starship is waay cheaper and is reusable
@@buraqaerospace9945 Yeah like costing 2 billions a launch which is 1000 times costlier than the launch price of Starship. Starship's upper stage has bigger capacity than even the international space station which took multiple launches by multiple nations to assemble. Imagine doing all that in a single launch and still having more capacity than the ISS....
Very cool!
Going on starship in 2023?😂
Jesus hello
When Jesus loves space stuff too. I celebrate 😂
@@Alderite Yes
Yo jesus, set up the first church in mars so we can convert those martians to catholics
Wow cindy this was such a good vid, everyone have a good day and stay safe...
Haha
Thanks Finley hill

This is a really impressive production! Good job 😊
This is by far the most awesome video I've seen on YT, in terms of animations. Loved the explanation as well. Great work Cindy!!
Solar System: (points at Saturn V) “ha! You think you can explore me with this?”
NASA: “I know I can’t but...HE can” (points at Starship)
Starship cracks
Your lyrical transition between rockets is outstanding.
The animation and narration of this video is incredible and I would love to see more like this
Props on this video! That green screening was flawless and really demonstrated the sheer size of that rocket.
The effort put into this this video is insane great job! This is the highest quality rocket comparison video I've ever seen
The design and animation in this video is terrific! Great job Cindy!!
Everything about this video is of next level 👌⚡🔥
Love the videos, Cindy. Congrats on over 200k subs.
Love the video Cindy! Such an amazing animation Nicholas 👏🏻👌🏼💖😍
Did not expect to see you pop up next to Starship at the end 😳
Only legend can create this
4:54 whoa that's so awesome! That beast is majestic!
Accurate and informative. Great narration and animation, as well. Subscribed, thank you.
Honestly I think this is one of your finest videos, its a shame, that it has so few views.
1960s:lets go to the moon
2021:lets go to mars
2100:lets go to a blackhole
Great rendering and animation work! It’s much harder than people realize - there’s quite a learning curve figuring it out and even then it’s still pretty time consuming.
Thank you :) and incase you wanted to know, this was done in Maya, rendered using Arnold!
This channel is really informative and entertaining at the same time, good job
Cindy I absolutely love ur show and look forward to it all the time ur a treat to listen to and pleasure to see. God speed and good luck with all ur future endeavors and thank you for what u do.
Wow this is the best tech teaching channel ever -- keep leaving comments and hit like to boost Cindy in the algo
This is a great video. Love the content and presentation. I even watched the commercial!
I like how Elon shows up and says "I'm gonna do this but way better", and then everyone laughed at him. The crazy thing is, there are people laughing at him still.
Because Starship is a pipe dream. Elon is constantly promising more than he can deliver. Starship has practically no radiation protection, and there is no way you are going to fly 100 people to Mars in that thing.
@@pixel6698 lmao just wait and see
@@blobblob7930 Wait and see what? Starship is honestly a stupid concept. A transfer vehicle that stays in orbit makes so much more sense than a direct ascent and landing.
You never miss on a video, I love how I gain knowledge from watching you
Love how the entire music changed when starship was introduced
Excellent video Cindy. That comparison was marvellous :)
that pfp is the Blue Marble i guess
@Mudkip909 ok but Ivan's pfp is real, right ?
Great video! You've put a lot of work into it and it shows!
Could you make a new video about Starship, its goals, the Artemis program and future missions to Mars?
long time no see! very good job Cindy.
Blue what?
Another thoroughly enjoyable, high quality video! And yes, amazing graphics. Thank you.
Amazing video quality, worth millions of people's 6mins time. Thank you !
This video is so underrated!
geez these transitions are amazing!
I think this channel is the most "undersubscribed" channel. Great Work !!!!
I was hoping to see a comparison with the Saturn Five!!!...maybe next time!!
Still a great video, thumbs up!! :)
I appreciate the human narration, not a computer-generated voice like many similar videos use.
Nice video, really good renderings!
Great video. Really appreciate it!
At the time of posting of that comment, the video was online less than a minute.
So good review lol...
@@SumriseHD ahh who cares. Different timezones
This is one of the best videos I have ever seen,
Sad how it does not get the amount of views it deserves.
Excellent as always and thank you.
Waiting for starship to get its final form.
Great animation, nice and not annoying advertisement keep on making such videos, you have great potential.
This is a great video, love the quality of the animation, keep up the good work!
Long Marsch 9, Proton, Angara A5V, Ariane 5 & 6 are missing ?
That epic domino effect if the Long March fell onto the Atlas Five and then...Holy Rockets!
Thanks for this Newsthink! 😘
Fantastic video! Great narration and animation, you packed a lot of information into a 6 minute video
Just imagine if we survived enough to participate in the space race
This is such a good news-reporter voice
And now, in August 6 of 2021 Starship and his booster are fully stacked, a bigger rocker than Saturn V
Remember its not how big your rocket is that matters, its how you use it
Very good quality video. Only thing I think you should have added is the fact that starship is design for in orbit refuelling.
Amazing video. Loved every second of it. Amazing work!
0:11 I think the two engines on one booster looks a bit uncommon, but once you get used to it the Long March 5 looks very beautiful.
2:02 The Falcon 9 gets it's name from the nine engines? Didn't know that before :D
2:37 I've always found the Delta Heavy to be kinda... disappointing... I mean it is so big but it's Payload is so small, On first look one would probably expect more carrying capability from such a big rocket...
3:37 SLS is my favorite rocket.
4:25 Starship's design is changing so quickly that getting it animated correctly is hard XD
These renders are amazing!!
Saturn V: what are we doing here, just to suffer?
Awesome video. My only critique is the lack of mention of any of the small sat launch providers, such as Rocket Labs or Virgin Galactic.
My goodness that last rocket is incredible.
You should have thrown in Rocket Lab's Electron. The contrast would have been hilarious!
This is a really cool channel. High quality content!
Thank you for providing such great content ....hope to see more
Me: Where is Saturn V
The channel: Saturn what ?
I love how they connect all rockets in a sentence
Well timed video. Thanks for your hard work. ❤️
Wow I'm really impressed with the animation video, fantastic job 👌👏
Haha! Starship is bigger. I literally said "Jeff Who?".But no doubt Glenn is big.
And the first test-flight has been pushed back to late 2022. Meanwhile SN15 has already landed safely, so we might well be on schedule for a full-power test flight in mid-late 2021. further, New Glenn doesn't have a much greater capability than Falcon Heavy.
@@GoranXII TRUE BROOOOOO 👍
Why did they not include GSLV Mark 3 when they included Long March 5 ?
Long march 5 is more powerful than gslv mark 3. They have not included any Russian rocket also
Very high quality video keep up the good work!
Did they just forget about the Russian one that's been taking people to the ISS for decades?
Soyuz but angara a5 is more powerful and bigger
Soyuz has quite a lot less payload than these vehicles, proton would be appropriate but it has been retired and replaced with Angara
One of the only good comparison videos good job explaning
If this video doesn't go viral, I'll be disappointed
Rocket builders: this next ones is going to be big, fast, strong, and will save all the money.
SpaceX: hold my keg
3:46
No, it’s for the Artemis program not to replace the space shuttle.
Can't wait for halo-style space exploration
Cindy accomplit un travail formidable.
Merci Stephen! Grâce à un animateur talentueux aussi :)
Congrats for your amazing work. Please keep going!
I'm happy seeing this channel grow more and more subscribers❤👏
SHUT UP!!!!!!
WOW! Excellent video! Thank you.
Does Tesla's Starman still have its camera on?
Why isn’t there a ESA Rocket mentioned
LONG MARCH 5B is so cute
I know that as an Irishman, my country's taxpayers money space adventures, via the European Space Agency (ESA), have been quietly launching hundreds of rockets since I think the 90's, but I didn't expect ESA's rockets to be completely forgotten about in this video.
Granted, I'm only 3:55 into this video, but I don't see any ESA rockets on this list, plus, isn't there more, smaller, companies launching stuff into space. Both Britain and India launched their own separate missions to Mars. The British robots solar panels failed to open when it landed on Mars though.
Also, Russia still exists.
Nice work Cindy, thanks! :)
Beautiful!
Jeff Bezos: falling behind spaceX
SpaceX: Think mark
1:10
Aren't those engines made by Blue Origin?
Only for the upper stage
@@bjarnes.4423 Aaah okay, thank you.
Where is indian gslv and pslv, video is incomplete
Really cool. This videos really bring hope and joy to my life
I'm surprised you didn't cover Ariane 5/6, as those would be comparable to the US heavy lift vehicles.
YOU HAVE FORGOTEN THE ARIANNE ROCKET.🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺🇨🇵🇫🇷
No Soyuz Rocket? It would be the smallest (45.6 m), but it still flies crew to space and should thus be included
There are many more rides to space and will do an updated video with Russian and India rockets
@@Newsthink Also Add rocket labs Electron and their upcoming larger rocket!
