Just finished the game today ~
My late father loved this game back then he was absolutely excited when a new KH was gonna be released he always bought it at the day of the game released i can see him using his days off to play it and never saw him happier/ angrier while playing it sometimes i just laugh, he always asked me to try playing these type of games and sure there were many he played but i can tell this was his favorite out of them all but i wasn't interested much on games back then thought of them as waste of time. When 2013 came he was so happy that they were releasing the game he was so happy and excited when it announced. My late father passed away last June 24, 2018 due to a hit and run accident i was devastated and when i heard this game was going to be release in 2019 it reminded me of him so much i didn't know what to feel exactly, every time i imagine his face smiling while playing this game, he was always looking forward to this game that i just broke down, so i picked up the old consoles that he had even the cd's that he had and started playing KH1 till to the recent, at 1st i didn't understand why he likes playing games but now i understand it a little bit more what made him so happy about it, it may not be much me saying this and playing it but every time i pick up the controller it reminded me of him and how happy he was that tears would just fall from my face while playing. I know playing this in his place won't change much but wherever he is i wish he could be happy and while watching me he watched me finished his favorite game and continue finishing for future games to come in the series. I'll always love you dad.
I'm thankful for creating such a beautiful game it became a big part of my father's life and now mine.

I'm sure your dad would be super happy to see you enjoying the stories he loved so much. This was his happy distraction from whatever else in life he needed to forget about.

Legit, Roxas’ arc is the one that means the most to me, so to have him reunited with not only Axel and Xion, but also Hayner, Olette, and Pence had me so emotional. And also Saix being friends with Axel again and everyone else had me squealing for joy oh my gosh I’m so happy for them 😭😭😭😭
I think the developers realized how much Roxas means to the fans and even to them, and that's why it got so much build up. He and Riku are the best parts of the game to me.

365 Days showed what his life was like in the organization,he made friends and things were going well,than everything got turned upside down and he was unintentionally responsible for Xion's death than in KH2 he learns his life in Twilight Town was just a lie.

I love how the Monsters Inc world actually feels like a proper crossover that respects both source materials and isnt just Sora just sort of existing in a Disney movie with the story happening around him or just weird fanfiction like stories.

7:57:32 This scene is so fucking powerful in my opinion. The ever-optimistic, always cheerful, happy-go-lucky hero, just gives up. Sora has never really had any traumatic moments like the other protagonists. Riku struggles to keep the darkness within him in check. Ventus literally had his heart fractured by Xehanort to create another being. Aqua spent over a decade in KH's version of Hell. Sora's always had his friends as emotional support when he needed it. He's never really had to face anything alone with no one to believe in him. And then this happens. His friends are all wiped away from him at once. Donald puts every ounce of his power into Zettaflare, basically performing a suicide attack. Everyone else is taken away by the Demon Tide (minus Riku at that point). Sora truly believes that he's lost. "My friends are my power" has always been his catchphrase, his motto, and now they're all gone. All he can do at this point is drop his Keyblade, fall to his knees and scream. The guy gave up. That scene absolutely broke me the first time I played the game and all I wanted to do was jump through my TV and give Sora the biggest hug I could.

Riku is standing next to him trying to comfort him. Sora gives up on him unlike Riku. I'm not implying that Sora isn't right for being depressed and lost... But Riku, his first and best childhood friend, is right there! They could have used that combined keyblade(dubbed "gayblade" by many fans) to fight the heartless together for as long as they can.

You know what I realized? A good portion of the characters in this game, and in a lot of games and anime in general, have a mullet. And you know what makes it worse? They actually make it look good.
The definition of a mullet is a hairstyle that is cut short in the front and the sides, and long in the back.
Terra, as an example, has hair that is cut significantly shorter in the front and sides than in the back.
How many other characters wear mullets or something else generally weird that we haven't noticed until now?
Everyone keeps underestimate Goofy's wisdom. He always say things very casual that makes sense and everyone ignores.
Seriously. I can never help but notice he seems to always know the right thing to say. His intuition is always right on the money. I view him as a certain leader with the way he keeps sora and Donald in check and helps them stay on the right track even on a mental level.

He should stick with that old voice. Whatever the voice direction was, it was terrible. Gallagher is a great VA but what he was given to work with wasn’t. I think they wanted him to have a peaceful hippie voice because he controlled darkness and has nothing to be scared of or something, and it does not work well

I finished it roughly 92 hours on proud mode. I did the side missions and got the ultimate keyblade before the end. The gummi ship was fun also.

Haley Joel Osment really put all of his talent and heart (HAR HAR) into Kingdom Hearts 3 in particular, voicing both Sora and Vanitas. He did a fantastic job.
He sure did. His acting has only gotten better as he got older (but doing stage work will do that). I'm certain Sora means a lot to Haley Joel.

Going through these comments is such a lovely time, clicking through all the timestamps and seeing everyone's thoughts. The whole ending sequence of the game where all of the trios reunite meant the world to me, but didn't have me crying. When I first saw this scene at 9:18:48 though I started bawling like a baby and I honestly have no idea why. It just hit me like a truck how much Donald and Goofy really have grown on me over the years.
Gonna take some popcorn, sit down on my throne and enjoy the best movie of 2019

@@dustyrose192 I don't have KH3, but a friend has it. He indeed says that the amount of cutscenes is insane. Also rather short for the time they spend on it. If they make KH4, I really hope it's less cutscenes or just a longer gameplay.

Sora has like a little thick chance. There’s no assist trophy or spirit of him so he is not deconfirmed but cloud is in it also from square enix. Cloud Barely has any presence with only a few songs and the only spirit is him.
