I rarely ever see anybody talk about the New Orleans Axeman. He was a pretty morbid serial killer who was also never caught. You can probably tell based off of just the name alone but he used an Axe to kill his victims in New Orleans. His murders occurred in the early 1900's. He sent a note to a New Orleans newspaper claiming to be a vengeful spirit. Probably the strangest part about him though was also in that same note. In that note he said he would spare those who played jazz music on the night of March 18th. Overall he was a pretty demented guy and was never caught unfortunately.
@@Atom200yes! That night everyone played jazz! Those that didn’t have how went to their neighbours and clubs for the whole night. No one was killed that night.
My dad and sister are firm believers that Jack the Ripper was a woman and not a man. Specifically, they always thought the killer was a midwife who had a personal vendetta against prostitutes. From what they told me, they believed she was more likely infertile and eventually her husband cheated on her with a sex worker and possibly got the sex worker pregnant. More likely sending the killer into a psychological spiral. There's no real evidence for this and is just a theory my family made, but it could be why the killer had more extensive knowledge on the female anatomy.
There were eyewitnesses who claimed that the murder victims were last seen with a man. The man was described similarly among the witnesses, but he was never identified. While a valid theory, it doesn't seem likely.
Why would a woman in the slums know more than a man in the slums. They'd always need to have learned that surgical knowledge somewhere regardless of the gender. Also the evidence points to a man. Just sounds like not well thought through theory not worth mentioning
Thank you for talking about one topic including MMIW (missing and murdered indigenous women) it’s very important to many native people and it’s not often we hear of it outside of our native groups.
@MandenTV u really think they haven't??? A lot of those womans family are actually trying but they don't have the platform and resources to make it known, especially with missing people, police pass it as a runaway or don't have the time because of newer cases, it's not that easy
It's not just that it's also the indigenous communities are not innocent in this. There's a frighteningly large amount of cases where a fellow indigenous person murdered the victim or the victims were suspected to know the killers. I am pretty sure those indigenous circles more involved in the criminal network from the area know a lot more then they let on

There is a pretty popular serial killer called the Phantom Kiler in early 1940s. It was known as the Texarkana Moonlight Murders and they made a movie about it. The movie is”The town that dreaded sundown”, killer still remains unknown.
