    I rarely ever see anybody talk about the New Orleans Axeman. He was a pretty morbid serial killer who was also never caught. You can probably tell based off of just the name alone but he used an Axe to kill his victims in New Orleans. His murders occurred in the early 1900's. He sent a note to a New Orleans newspaper claiming to be a vengeful spirit. Probably the strangest part about him though was also in that same note. In that note he said he would spare those who played jazz music on the night of March 18th. Overall he was a pretty demented guy and was never caught unfortunately.

    My dad and sister are firm believers that Jack the Ripper was a woman and not a man. Specifically, they always thought the killer was a midwife who had a personal vendetta against prostitutes. From what they told me, they believed she was more likely infertile and eventually her husband cheated on her with a sex worker and possibly got the sex worker pregnant. More likely sending the killer into a psychological spiral.
    There's no real evidence for this and is just a theory my family made, but it could be why the killer had more extensive knowledge on the female anatomy.

    If you do a part 2, i would love to see you talk about H.H. Holmes. He was one of america's first serial killers, and there is a pretty good theory that says he was jack the ripper. he was a doctor, who would know anatomy, was in Britain during the period, and had access to the weapons jack used. once he left, the murders stopped. I know he wasnt caught, but his murder hotel that he built should earn him an honorable mention. Another one is the son (or sons) of sam. only caught one of them. Love the vid, definitely subbing

      The modus operandi of HH Holmes and Jack is not even close to the same. To name them as the same person is a nonsense theory proposed by someone who just wants to create a story. It's super, super, super rare for a serial killer to change their modus operandi and knowing about HH Holmes, his motive for killing people in America doesn't align with why he would target prostitutes in the slum of England. Nothing about them matches up except for their lifespan

      @EmersonMARSOLEK-bs5dq 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ilyashalygin A lot of the story was greatly exaggerated by the press, but I think there is some validity to the claims- he admitted to 27 murders (some of the victims were verifiably still alive) he was proved to have killed at least one person- his business partner- but was also thought to have killed three of the partners kids, then three mistress, the kid of one of the mistresses and the sister of another. The 'murder castle' he had was greatly exaggerated (though I think the thing about him shoving bodies in the walls was true?) and his kill count was suspected to be anywhere between 20-200, the number is again- probably exaggerated, but I lend it some credit given that he was active (suposedly) during the Chicago World Fair, and I'm not sure anyone would have noticed 50 people going missing from the crowd of 27 million over the course of 7ish months.

    Some facts/corrections about the Highway of Tears:
    -There have been three known serial killers on the highway, Edward Dennis Issac (3 victims), Peter Brian Arp (2 victims), and Cody Legebokoff (4 victims). All of whom have been caught and convicted.
    -The 80+ number includes solved and attributed cases, the number of unsolved cases is around 40.
    -The Highway of Tears now includes a specific portion of Highways 97 and 5 that intersects with highway 16, which adds two more confirmed killers to the list, Bobby Jack Fowler (who died in prison almost a decade before DNA proved him to be the killer), and Garry Taylor Handlen (he was convicted of two murders of pre-teen girls, only one of which was a Highway Of Tears case).
    -Due to horrid systemic issues the victims skew heavily as indigenous women, however its a misconception that all or almost all of the victims are indigenous, indigenous women make up about 65% of victims.
    -Because of the addition of Highway 97 the first confirmed case is now from 1969.

    I have heard that jack when hes was a child he studied medicine (his mother somtimes got sick and he wanted to help her since they were very very poor) and biology of the body his mother made him hoping her loved one would come back because she was a prostitute but he got married so his mother hated him since she only used him for that man so he went to rage and killed his mother and continued to kill prostitute for revenge though its just a tale it sound believable

    Don't forget with the Highway of Tears, law enforcement simply don't care about the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and others. It's a huge scandal here in Canada, and still isn't getting the attention and scrutiny it deserves.
