Hi Nathan, The brand of balloons I like and use in this video is Qualatex. Because most balloons are made of latex they get brittle with age so if your balloons are a few years old (even if you just bought them) that could also be why they are breaking. In this video the opening of the container is 4.25" in diameter and that seems to be the limit to what the nozzle end of an 18" balloon can stretch to. I'm going to be putting together a series on the basics of balloon twisting including where to buy them, what kind to get, and how to store them. It will be posted on my second channel "Terrace Balloon Man".

I don't use protein powder but am headed out to buy some. Would you mind giving me the size of the container you are using? My store has all sizes :)

Different brands will have different shapes and dimensions, I will measure the size of the one I used when I get home. Another thing you could do is visit a gym and see if anyone has any empties.
