Honestly, looking back on season x. I’d say it’s one of the best seasons. You got something new every week. You got a new/old location with a twist. You got new weapons. Even though mechs were overpowered they were still fun to use and kept the gameplay fun. I feel like that’s what Fortnite is missing nowadays, they focused too much on the competitive side, that they lost the aspect that made Fortnite fun. Unique skins, llama piñatas, fun weapons, bright colors... these things made the game fun and interesting to play. But now, everytime Fortnite tries something unique, they’re bashed by the competitive community. Do Fortnite is dull and boring now.. it honestly sucks. I don’t think we need the chapter 1 map back, I don’t think we need old weapons, we need to trust that Epic Games knows what they’re doing. Even if an item is overpowered, it still makes the game fun! It was annoying to get rammed by an airplane, but it was so much fun ramming someone with an airplane. Fighting to death, to see who is worthy of claiming the mythic infinity blade, and then bouncing around slicing people, that was fun. Being in a B.R.U.T.E. With your best friend, dancing and launching missiles at other player, that was fun! I feel like since Fortnite started balancing out weapons for the competitive players, the game lost its touch. Even though they have a separate game mode for competitive players, they are never satisfied, because they can’t be satisfied. Epic Games works their butts off to make sure the community is happy, you need to be more grateful
I agree with you on most fronts, but brutes don’t belong in this game. Nor do battle buses and tanks. They’re still sucking up to comp players because nothing in this game one shots anymore.
