@@marche800 partly. They also use very little filler words and although sometimes it's hilarious and entertaining, I find that these commentators keep joking to a minimum and make objective comments and keen observations

That’s why I love Leo so much, he did the same against Zackray (I believe) where Zack was devastated after losing to Leo. Leo was celebrating until he saw Zack down in the dumps. He quickly stopped celebrating and I believe he hugged him. Such a great guy, man, I love watching him!

I'd say he and YB are REALLY close in terms of techincal skill, I'd say their styles are different, quick with more bombs and YB more wavebounce focused, either way both of them are far ahead of the curve but im giving YB a slight edge. Anyway top 2 hands down.

This set was sick to watch. I was rooting hard for Quik. I think he was playing out of his mind, but you have to give MKLeo credit for digging deep and getting the W in the end.
quiK would be a top 10 player if he got to travel more, it's amazing how well he keeps his composure against mkleo.

@@kylelove4078 The key thing is that if he just spammed projectiles, he would lose even faster. What online players to stop spamming projectiles? Show them you know how to counter that simple playstyle and force them to adapt back to your adaption.

I kinda feel this, everyone who has practiced with Leo has leveled up, first Glutonny, became the best in Europe, playing Nairo online has also leveled up and probably top 3, Samsora when they practiced in Mexico started winning more and will probably be #2 soon, and now quick, probably #2 in Europe soon too, im loving Ultimates story, so much talent is flourishing
I disagree. Leo adapts better than any other player in the world. Everytime it seems someone has his number he comes back next set or tournament and destroys them.

I love how when they show mkleo in between sets he always looks like he's a bit timid, or unsure of himself... yet in game hes a confident decision making machine that's absolutely terrifying.

3:57 to 4:08 quik's my favorite Samus just for how he manages to move around the ground pressure with her.
Quik's downfall from the moment Leo switched to Lucina was trying to recover laterally. Against most characters stalling on the side works well, but Lucina is floaty + sword (and Leo covered it phenomenally). I think a great way around Leo's offense here would've been for Quik to do a "Snake" recovery--use his double jump immediately + bombs to recover as high as possible above center stage, then use b-reverses and air dodge to land.
Mkleo did fantastic in that game as always, but we also have to give a shout-out to Quik. He really held his own well against the best player in the world
I think MkLeo doesn't get as much hate being #1 because you can tell he's a genuinely nice guy who just loves the game. And his matches are always exciting AF

I was so torn on who I wanted to win, because I love both of these players, and play both Lucina and Samus, but god Leo is insane
You can kind of tell that MKLeo is struggling against the projectiles but overcomes it with clean fundamentals, great combos, and a strong understanding of the game. GG’s to Quik.

Even though I hate fighting Samus, quiK made the character look so much fun and demonstrated so much mastery of her that I couldn't help but root for him. He almost had it game 4, but I think next time he gets a chance to face Leo, he might actually take the set. Great stuff, great set!

I come from the future to tell you that MKLeo won an online tournament against Sonix and he said he had trained with Quik.
I thought you couldn't pick the same stage you won on before. If that's so, why did Quik go to FD twice in the set?
Most tournaments allow players to gentleman to an already victorious stage, ie they both agree to ignore DSR.

After observing this video, I'm realizing why MKLeo tends to counter pick with Lucina. Usually being floaty can be a detriment to Lucina's play, but in this case, it was somewhat beneficial.
Joker isn't as good as Lucina at edge guarding and is a lot more easily camped by the ledge and put in dangerous situations when ledge trapped. Lucina is a bit better at that due to the better range advantage and being able to time her edge guards at a more leisurely pace due to her floatyness.

They might! I'd guess they switch between the two. I worked for a company based out of the UK and when they read off reference numbers, they often said "zed" for "Z." They also said things like "faffing about" and "well chuffed" and I had to look up what the fuck those meant

That 2nd round adjustment by quik was pretty cool to watch. Gave leo a hard time. Leo suffered through, letting the data come through to make the necessary reads later.

MKLeo obviously hasnt played much samus players i mean no one really plays her anymore in high level. In the end he started to figure it out pretty fast in 1 set this just shows how his adaptability is very high. Samus just isnt that good and I dont think she ever was in any smash game even in melee (loses to all top tiers and barely wins vs mid tiers). If they ever meet again it'll probably wont be close in favor of MKleo. PS. Buff Samus she isnt even that good at spamming nor zoning. Shes pretty mediocre in her category (if you consider her zoner). Only thing that samus has is recovery with a few buffs here and there (or nerfs depending how you look at it).
