Last week I received your Universal Tartan "Caledonia Calling" It is absolutely magnificent I will be proud to wear it out to represent my Scottish heritage...that is, once the polar vortex decides that West Virginia is not where it should be hovering and we can get above the freezing temps!

I used the German National tartan for my wedding kilt to merge my German heritage with my wife's Scottish heritage.

There is a Canadian centennial tartan and a provincial centennial tartan for Nova Scotia.

Wear literally any tartan, the open choice of a tartan based on taste and availability is more “traditional” than an anti-Scottish appeal to British norms by aristocrats. In fact, if you’re judging tradition by length of practice, it is *an order of magnitude* more traditional to eschew “clan” tartans.

I am a Sinclair on my Scottish side and an O’Donoghue on my Irish side. Does the O’Donoghue family name have a tartan?
