Barry Sanders was a beast in real life too. Only player I saw rush for 100 yards consistently WITHOUT a line. Lions never smashed on the 49ers like that though. Even with Sanders.
Peete in TSB was so bad, he was great. He would under and overthrow so bad, defenders rarely got an interception and when receivers did catch it, it was a leaping grab with defenders out of position. I remember not linking the really accurate QBs in TSB for that reason. But also, screen passes to the backs was always ridiculously easy. I once played a season with the Redskins where Ernest Byner had like 2800 yrs receiving and 200+ rec because he had like great hands and was always wide open at 5-7 yds deep (rest of the team was terrible).

Just bought the same one for sega genesis. Beefed up graphics since original NES and same gameplay. Best version in every way of tecmo
