I haven’t had the KO2’s or 3’s. I do have the Falken Wildpeak AT3’s, 265/70R 17, currently on my 2021 TRD Sport and they are really good in the snow and off road use. They have a self cleaning tread and test better in wet road conditions than the KO 2’s. They are quiet and don’t ride hard like my old Goodyear Wranglers.
Interesting that those are the exact tires that come stock on the ranger raptor and the mpg between the two trucks is almost exactly the same. I guess I would prefer the extra power the Ford gives you for the same fuel economy
Im confused here. The part # 560-69504 from Toyota OEM shows these wheels at +15mm Offset. You claim yours is +19mm. Im glad I doubled checked because I almost ordered a set already.
The mpg seems poor. I bought the 24 Canyon AT4. 82 mph from Albuquerque (5100 ft elevation) to Santa Fe (6500 ft elevation) 19 mpg. Going 75 mph coming back 27 mpg. It’s not a flat drive it’s up hill down hill up hill down hill with a long drive up the last 10 miles. Flat Texas at lower elevation even for a Turbo seems poor.
The crazy part is that this slow Ranger is as fast as a 6.2L Raptor to 60, and a second faster in the 1/4 mile. Also happens to be the fastest in its class, except for the Ranger Raptor.
285/70/R17 32.8 INCHES BFG
Nice. These would be nice to get when I decide to really take these truck for some crazy trail..
A massive dose of manliness ❤
How about the 285/70/17 on the OEM TRD OR wheels?
R4T made a video on this and they fit 285/70/17 perfect with no lift needed on the stock TRD OR rims, go check it out
Legit setup!

I went with a Toyo Open County III 6-ply AT tire, 275/65r18. Just needed a better tire for northeast winter driving.
Love the black steelies with the KO3s.
Great vid. Thanks guys ✌🏻👍🏻
I have ko2 and have really enjoyed them, been thinking of going ko3 when I get new tires later this year.

Nice that Ford doesn't make you immediately have to go out and spend almost $1,400 on proper tires.
255/80/R17 33.1 INCHES BFG and 285/75 r17 33.9 INCHES bfg will fit with a little trimming or Taking of air dam and tire crash stop ! fun times
Loved my KO2's. Best all around tire for pavement, snow, mud and sand.
Right on! That has been our experience as well.

Looks awesome!
Steely wheels look much better than the OEM’s
That right rear tire has a ton of weight on it to balance it out!
Wonder how these perform against the falken AT4s
Yep, already a rock stuck in the treads LOL....that must be a carryover feature :D
True for every all terrain made ever
What is the part # for these lug nuts ? Great video.
I had wild peaks on my gen2 Taco and they were quiet to start but go more noisy the more they wore. I wonder if all AT tires are this way.
What size are these just ordered 285 s
Can these 285/70/r17 fit the stock trd off-road wheels?
Yes
@ do you think they’ll rub or that a lift may be needed? I’m thinking of maybe adding a 1 1/2 leveling kit but not sure if that would be sufficient.
How can I order the wheels

Part number for those steelies ? They just bolted right up no spacers or anything ?
Here you are! 560-69504
Why not just buy the center caps from the 24 sr Tacoma
How many miles have you guys put on it so far?
7800 so far. Running like a champ.
Gotta figure out that popping mic lol. Good videos regardless!
Very sorry about that. We have figured it out since filming this episode. Thanks for watching through it 👍
If you like them, OK, but I see no real advantage to steelies, plus they don't look as good in my opinion
Bigger tires ..more gas burn..
2024 Tacoma have a smaller gas tank 18.2 vs 3 gen have 21.1 gas tank..
Meaning more time at the gas stations…lol
A harsh reality!
Why is that that steadies look better than the junk Toyota put on this truck?
Glad i got rid of my 2923 tacoma trd OT truck. That 6 speed AT was pure junk.
Love my 2024 colorado zr2 10 times better vehicle.
Steel wheel and tire review video and they use factory alloy wheel nuts 🤦🏼♂️ do not use OE alloy wheel nuts on steel wheels.
Man these guys have more money than sense. Just keep adding weird stuff tot he truck.
Those look just like the spare tire rim. Like dawg shit
All in the eye of the beholder
Looks like they've got another slow over priced mule.

@@TexasTruckChannel This is a Tacoma, not a Ranger...
Overpriced tire on an overpriced truck. 🗑️
Every truck out right now are the same price😭 it’s not Toyotas fault
You should lobby your congressman to ban the damn thing.
Their money!
All I read was cheap cheap cheap cheap. 😂😂😂
