Mia, bless your heart. It helps to put a drop of contact solution on your finger to hold the contact then add another drop in the contact then put it in and blink. If it hurts, something is wrong, could be a clothes fiber or eyelash anything. Take it out immediately
Corina Bizzell I was thinking it was probably that the contacts were still in the solution to keep them sterile.
Make sure you are safe when using and buying contact lenses! every eye has a different shape and if you buy from a 'cheap' website or a third party and they do not ask for ANY eye details then do not get them! you could cause damage to your eyes. As a cosplayer, I have seen many people buy contacts and use them, but have to leave because their eyes were burning and hurting. One of my friends bought contacts for one time use from a cheaper online store and the dye that the contacts were made of was not safe, and she had to go to the eye doctor. Also, make sure to keep the contact hydrated through the day in your eye, because when it becomes dry it will hurt as well. Crazy cool lenses like Sclera lenses and the doll lenses are much bigger than normal contacts and you'll want to be extra cautious with these.
From my experience, it is best if you have an eye doctor prescribe your contacts and you should know all your information before buying contacts from anywhere other than your doctor.

If you do try sclera lenses only ware them for a hour. Not any longer. They are not normal size and can cause cuts and abrasions to the eyeball. Be safe don't ruin ur sight.

Using colored contacts, you have to soak them over night with solution so t doesn’t harm your eyes. Also when you put them in, you can move them around if they’re cat eye and dragon eye so it stands up straight. Also use the contact cases with solution. Don’t put them back in the package. Just to clarify it

it's JoJo siwa !!!! Usually it says it on the website. I usually buy from ohmykitty and unqiso and they send instructions. But still, you should look stuff up before shoving something in your eye

I just need to put this out there because of safety. You can't just put contacts into your eye after getting them out of the bottle. For the best and softest outcome you need to wash them with contact lenses solution then they need to be placed a contact lenses holder in clean solution and left for at least 24 hours. I have put them into my eye from the bottle but you should never ever just take them out of the bottle and use them!! they need to be at least lean. Contacts should always always be cleaned before and after use. Especial if you dont know exactly were they come from. like typical contacts you get from the eye doctor. Colored contacts like this are not the same and might not have the same regulations and because of that you must must must wash them. I am not by all means trying to be rude just its possible to damage your eyes by not washing them. The little exposure Mia did probably wont do much but prolonged use is much more possible so please please please wash your contacts!!!!

I was also alarmed she didn't rinse them first, even the prescription ones from the doctor should be rinsed to get the preservatives off before you put them in your eye. Not sure about soaking, but I've never worn colored contacts.
And eye irritation is a big deal, it can lead to infections and worse if continual.
@@nikkieasley6204 I do obviously. I can't say anything about your contacts. However, it doesn't matter if you didn't experience anything bad over the years. I also get the feeling that you wear see a eye doctor to get yours. These type of contacts are different because you don't see a doctor to get them. They come from a website. I have never used these contacts before so I can't say anything the quality but you are putting something on your eye they need to be washed at least. As it was said irritation can cause bad infections. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want that to happen....I feel like most care to avoid infections...
Also the 24 hour thing is because colored contacts come in a saline solution that doesn't really disinfect them. So do get them disinfected you put them in solution for 24 hours to give them time to become disinfected. I did say it wasn't necessary just recommended to place them in solution for 24 hours.
Colored contacts are not the same as regular contacts you get from the eye doctor.
@Kaylynn Ceriteelli - Yes I’m 100% aware of the difference. I wear prescription contacts occasionally when I read, and most of the time wear colored ones. and I know the difference. I constantly change the colors I get and the brands. Yes, they can cause infections but, more likely than not they won’t. I always just rinse them and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve never used a drop of contact solution. But hey if someone’s stupid enough to get them from a random ass website I’d drench them in solution too 😂👌

That’s actually not it at all. She ordered plano lenses with no prescription. If she has even the slightest bit of prescription then the contacts won’t fit well and will turn. Also contacts aren’t one size fits all, the have different base curves to fit different sized eyes... so if they sent her an 8.4 and she needed an 8.8 they also wouldn’t fit well.
Watching her put in the "lizard eyes" and her saying she'd give it a 10 out of 10 if they were straight................................

You’re not meant to use them straight out of the liquid they come in! You’re meant to use eye safe liquid once opened!
The slit contact lenses are usually not worth getting unless they are weighted because they will rotate.
FlyingWonderGirl that’s not true. The solution they come in is safe and the contact lens can be put on from the solution they came in.
@@joolszdanevich6272 no they're not. stop spreading harmful misinformation through anecdotal experience. if they are 1-day/throwaway lens, you can do this. with all other contacts, you must soak them in solution for at least 4-6 hours prior. you can technically put them in straight away if you're in an emergency but it will sting and you'll have watery and irritated eyes for a while (made worse if you don't regularly wear contacts). but just because you can doesn't mean you should.

For someone who wears contacts everyday (I hate my glasses so I wear them lol) and has for 2 years, I've experienced SO many bad things happen while trying to put them in lol. From putting them in backwards and my eyes hurting so bad till I manage to get them out, to them tearing while trying to put them it, to them going under my eyelid idk wear it went in there and spending 10 minutes trying to find it and get it out!!!! Ya I've been through a lot lol

This is so accurate. I have been wearing lenses every day for the last 13/14 years and so many things can go wrong, but I'm practically blind without them. Seeing how I really hate wearing glasses, I can't really buy coloured contacts, or they are incredibly expensive 😕 so fun to watch someone else do it (and struggle 😂 because for me it has become very easy)

Some pro tips about putting on contacts!
1. It’s ALOT easier to clean/put in/remove without nails.
2. It’s better to not be wearing makeup until after they have been applied.
Your so beautiful with and without makeup but when you do wear makeup I love how natural and subtle it is your face looks great and just accentuated rather changed. Loving it!

You need to wash them with the proper contact solution before putting them on. (If they stay over 3-4 months in the same liquid, is not as safe anymore). Also you need to have makeup free eyes, because you can drag the makeup in with the lenses and cause irritation of even potential infection, so you do your makeup with the contacts on to avoid that. :)

@@kangamgamlin5312 My contacts case is small therefore I have no choice but to take my contacts out using my nails. Also, what was said was having long nails makes putting contacts on more difficult than if you had shorter nails.

Omfg no! You’re not ever supposed to put them directly from the bottle to your eye. Ever! You need to let them soak in contact solution for at least 6-8 hours to get off the sanitary fluid!!
Careful next time becuase you’re supposed to soak the lenses in contact solution after unpacking.

KMichelle Argus it’s better not to since the liquid it comes in is super strong so the contacts are clean for shipping. The liquid isn’t really supposed to go into the eye directly, that’s probably why her eye burned.

I'd have had to film over a few days as my eyes would just be messed up taking contacts in and out like that. I actually thought you were rather brave about it. Cheyenne Metiary it’s a factory solution to keep them in storage when they arrive you have to soak and clean them to remove the solution and make them clean
With the lizard eyes, you have to put them in your eyes straight but even when you do they will move around and go sideways with every blink of your eyes. Also the contact colors shows up best with really dark brown eyes that look black. Usually it's best to look to the side and put your contact in the white of your eye then slowly blink and and look around until your contact finds its way to the right spot, just so you're not touching that spot on your eyes. Not an expert I just know some things because I work at a haunted house and have worn these style contacts alot lol

saurus some contacts are one use, some last a month, some last a year (all with correct maintenance) but they have to be checked routinely and go with the product and your eye doctor’s recommendation

And i love the last contact lense it really fits u
music. Ly as long as you soaked the lenses in a contact solution after opening them, kept a bottle of eye drops to keep your eye lubricated (they can get dry after a prolonged use) and didn’t sleep in them or use them longer than or in any other way than recommended, you’d be fine.
