Thank you so much for another great interview about Elvis's background Spa Guy. Also Thank you Mrs. Louise Smith for being so truthful and saying that you couldn t remember when you couldn't. I love the story about the bird, and Elvis trying to run through the gate. I can just see Gladys teaching that bird to say those things as I have always heard that Gladys was so unhappy after Elvis became a big star because he was gone so much. I love elderly people and love listening to thier stories. I hope and pray that she lives to be over a hundred. I heard Johnny Cash say that he was there when Elvis played on the back of a flatbed truck. It was so nice of you to help Mrs. Smith set up an e-mail to sell her two books. I wish her great success. I see what you did. I'm sorry that you had to re-edit this. I really enjoyed the original version. I can't understand how some people were misconstruing her comments. In your original edit, if you follow her answers to your questions, it's evident she's on a memory journey and answering to the best of her ability. I think she misunderstood some of the questions. God bless her. How many of us will be able to recall all the details of a such a long life. I do love to see her excitement when recalling what she can. Thanks for ALL the uploads. I think it's wonderful how you spoke to the elderly woman. I know it's hard sometimes because I have an elderly mom and I had an elderly dad before he went to heaven. This is certain rhythm and patience we must have and also love for the people that are trying to regain their memory. These interviews are hard and I appreciate your patience and respect by Elvis Presley relatives and I know Elvis would appreciate this also. Thank you for this video Spa guy. My Aunt Penny was Gene and Louise's nanny while they lived at Graceland. She took care of their children. She had a bedroom just off the garage, where Louise said the children slept. I wish we could see those rooms on the tour. The tour guide did show us the door that leads to that area, which is in the new VIP lounge. So happy to hear Louise describe that area!

You are both amazed with each other's presence. I love your video's and the way you interview with such kindness. Louise is a sweetheart too, the way she lost Gene was sad. Elvis also had 3 heart attack's they didn't know about it was a family genetic problem many of Elvis's family had like with his mother he loved so dearly.

What a lovely lady Ms. Smith is! I loved hearing her stories. The people in Elvis' life lived an amazing life once Elvis got big, he was always so caring to his family. You can tell they were all tight and isn't that the way it should be?!! Nowadays, family means nothing to so many. That's one of the things I loved about Elvis, he kept his family close. Thanks for another great video Billy!
DITTO! As a new born I was left with an elderly couple who raised me until they passed in 1966 & 1969. They spoke broken-english AND broken-norwegian {smiles}. They also spoke the way Elvis' Relatives, spoke, in running sentences, hardly any; periods . or question marks ? or explanation marks ! with a southern-drawl. That's why I keep coming back to The Spa Guys videos. . .just to "HEAR" them talk and info about Elvis, of course. I love the way Uncle Vester's book was ALLOWED TO BE WRITTEN, just the way HE SPOKE :) :) :) It's familiar, comforting to me :) Of, course, I "learned" to speak just like them and going into FIRST Grade, the teacher COULDN'T UNDERSTAND ME :) :) :) :) Nether could the other kids my age because I was never around anyone but the elderly couple. "I learned when PUNCTUATION was TAUGHT, sentence structure. . . y u c k. . . .then beginning FRENCH Class. . .I'm totally lost and didn't talk much. EXCELLANT VIDEOS {SMILES}

Glad you have posted this back my friend, I don't understand Gayle below or am I missing something, I thank you for this video and like you say you are introducing Louise, Genes wife to all of us who are Elvis fans. I am sorry that you had to do things to you're video because people started to twist things, god bless this young lady, and thanks again not just for this video but for all you're videos about Elvis, can't wait for the next one. You can tell by the way she talks she had a fantastic time at Gracelands and lots of happy times with Gene.

Bless her. Praying she lives to be 100 and has that party that she's planning. In the first part I was seeing where you were going with the questions about locations and dates. That really brought her story alive when you see the location. That's far more insightful than those biopics where they mess up with the history the locations the dates and twist the actual events and put words into Elvis mouth. This is real history. If there's another video with Louise I'm sure she will think of more stories.
Good thing you did - hate to have lost all these great stories with her over one thing that could have been used wrongly by those looking for something to start up their beliefs - she is a sweet lady - she comes to The Tent often and she does love the ETA's and everyone loves her! Thanks for fixing that

Before the elvis links are gone?!?! Wth!!!! I met her 2010I have a pic Of myself and her with her hand on the hood of my H1 hummer I DROVE !!! FROM ANNAPOLIS MD TO MEMPHIS U wanna talk road noise!! For THE FIST EVER elvis car show!! I had a decision made of Elvis working on his own jeep in the army I had put on the hood!! I spent 10 days at Graceland Three nights with her at Joe Kent show .... He was also amazing it WAS SO good to see her face all these years later now 2021 I hope she's STILL WELL!!!

Spa Guy it’s fair use once you post it to the internet! This is why I texted you. I think it is clear in what she says, but more maybe more in what she doesn’t say.
Like I told you, if I had knowledge without a shadow of a doubt, he faked his death...I would take it to my grave.
Heck, I never even seen or met Elvis and I feel a loyalty to him, so just imagine the ones closest to him.
However if he was murdered, like Vernon was implying, I would want to see anyone still around, who may have been involved brought to justice!

@@leebenblue that's what said. She never said he wasn't in the casket just that he didn't look the same. That does happen with alot of people. It's amazing what the funeral home people can do. Mrs. Louise is one of the sweetest ladies. I have met and talked with her. Just talked with her Saturday night. She's a joy to be around but being 86 sometimes our memories aren't right on key. If you really want to know her story read her book. She told me Gene wrote a book. Not sure when. She said his book was really good. He and Elvis grew up together since they were babies. I can't imagine what all he has to say. She said Gene's book was 20.00. I didn't know he had a book but she said he did. I told her I had been watching the spa guy interview. She didn't say much. I only discussed her book. Some of what she said in the interview I already knew. I always like to bring up the good and positive things about Elvis. I definitely was not about to bring up the conversation about his death. That doesn't matter to me. To me it's how he lived not how he passed. I wish people would just leave it alone.

Spa Guy then tried to get info on what strange things happened and she refused to answer. Everyone on the original video who left comments thought the same thing but all of a sudden it was" taken out of context".

She wasn't his Aunt, Ms. Louise was Elvis' cousin by marriage. She was married to Gene Smith, Elvis' cousin on his mom's side.

Spa Guy, have you covered how the family felt about the Colonel Parker? Sometimes he seems to get a bad rap, but others seem to have admired him. I've read that he and Elvis had friction from time to time, but I suspect EP did what he wanted most of the time and let Parker and Vernon be the bad guys when it suited him.
I haven't yet. I have filmed an entire Colonel documentary and will be working on it soon. I filmed everything from his birthplace in Breda Holland to his house in Nashville.. I am a fan of everyone involved all had good and bad..
I have it taped, I taped it so I could show my husband, just in case I couldn’t find it again. Because Elvis Did not Die.
