Halsey made a fantasy horror film to accompany this album, exploring themes like motherhood, misogyny, gender, and occult/witchcraft. I personally think it's good and interesting to watch ☝️🤓
I watched this album live with my ex made me fall in love with her honey was our song. So sad to see how the woman I fell in love with was not the women who tried to end my life. Listened to this but kinda choked up at honey. 🍯
She made a remixed version of Lilith with Suga (BTS) for Diablo IV soundtrack, she also performed it at The Game Awards. I think thats why the lyrics sounded familiar but not the instrumental!
And, about Ya'aburnee. You were actually right, she has endometriosis and had 3 miscarriages. This album is about "the ups and downs of her pregnancy" and this song especifically is meant to be about her wish to have a child and how she would not be able to handle the lost of another one.
Yes and no. No in the sense, it's not about wanting a child. But more about how she cant handle another lost. Specifically that she loves the child (and her ex at the time) so much that she cant live from the idea that they aren't in her life while she lives. So she rather be the one who dies and they live on... something along that line. 'And if we dont live forever, one day we will trade places. Darling you will bury me before I bury you.'
I'm a first-time viewer. Your reaction/review of the album didn't suck at all. Nice video!
