in song of flame with a solar grenade it wont take the grenade so you get unlimited special shots with it. until the super runs out at least. unlimited fire nukes so fun
They said fun, nothing wrong with trying out different ways to play. Might even be more powerful since that shot hit over 100k and normal super grenade hits nowhere near that!
Since the change to grenade and not subclass driving the element type, my usecase is broken. I was using Mothkeepers for double grenades, but now I'm stuck with arc Tesselation rather than strand. Ugh
Or just play with one grenade and deal with it, hunters already have a billion melee charges and this man is bitching about not being able to spam grenades/tessellation with his preferred type The privilege these hunters possess ..
@@blatantdisregard2312how is it disappointing? what was it supposed to do, all at once? prismatic is all about being a jack of all trades, giving it objectively the best synergy with ANY perk that draws from your equipped subclass just wouldn't fit the bill
The power of Tessellation is limited by a few things that would make it far to strong should Bungie have not had restraint with the Catalyst. One that applies for all classes is the grenade regen speed buff from going transcendent. Before Prismatic, you could argue that Tessellation should either do more damage or having a large aoe area, due to both sacrificing a grenade charge and taking up an exotic slot, because the exotic hinges on having your grenade charged. Unfortunately given the increase in uptime Transcendent provides, it would likely be too strong. The other reason is Warlock’s song of flame, as the grenades from the super can be consumed by Tessellation, so you have a fairly lengthy period of time to use supercharged Tessellation shots. That’s all.
It would be way too strong if it did effects relating to your prismatic grenade, it works with your equipped super and still lets you consume the grenade yhougg
Combo that with the new solar song of.flame.super and you can fire that shot on every shot. Can't remember if you need one of the fragments but I'm sure there is a build for it on YT.
Not sure how it is when you buy the expansion after the update drops, but I pre-ordered the standard edition and was able to claim the weapon at the exotic kiosk when the expansion came out.

Probably the most underwhelming pre order exotic weve ever gotten ngl, thought it was gonna do some crazy stuff with prismatic.
If you build into grenade regen it's cracked, and if you are in Song of Flame you can just spam the grenade shot over and over again
try it with song of flame and lmk if you think its underwhelming

Gotta disagree with you. Sure it might not be as meta defining as say quicksilver was, but its still really solid all around
If you put a suppression grenade on with the fragment that makes void grenades weaken them it basically blinds them and weakens them

I did, it just uses the same damage type as your normal grenade :(
