I just thought it made Blade and Sorcery feel more realistic -- which I guess is part of it after all! Fun experience but, its short lived, graphics suck (like a 3D ps2 game), and they get mad if you get creative and put the gun between ur legs, jerk ur gun off like its a pen15, and dry hump fire till the zombies drop. All in all, make sure there's someone who isnt a Karen watching you play

The fans are to help with orientation while in VR as well as motion sickness because they are all blowing in one direction, which gives you a sense of where you are in the real world.

The arm and wrist pieces have these little balls on them that the cameras use to track your location. I did something like this and we were warned not to hit or move them once in place or it would mess up our experience, and i will tell you the backpacks are not light so you wouldn't be doing flips and tricks in them anyways
Sandbox VR was terrible when I went last year. I went to the Vegas location in a group of 6. My equipment kept malfunctioning. My display would freeze or shut off literally every 20 seconds and would require a full reboot from the staff to get back up and running. It would then break after another 20 seconds. During the few seconds I was able to play, my weapons would not load in, so I couldn't actually do anything. I also experienced horrible frame rates for those few seconds, like under 10 fps. The rest of my group was complaining about low frame rates (playable but no higher than 40fps) and poor body tracking. Sandbox was kind enough to refund our visit, though.
Any vr game that moves the character forward without my actual body moving forward or basically any direction makes me sick. But super hot was perfect, I felt fine
You'll get used to it with regular practice, dw! It's like driving a car for the first time. Many people get motion sick when they drive a car for the first time, but if you do it often you'll be fine.
The fans are literally just to keep things cooled off. As many vr headsets alone causes over heating. I could only imagine how hot they were with all that gear on!
The fans are simply because when you sweat in vr the screen gets foggy so it prevents you from sweating as much in my house I make sure it’s cool when I get in vr if not the screen will get foggy from the heat and my face

If I could by the equipment I would never leave my VR gaming room I built in my huge racecar shop it's basically a empty room that has heat and A/c that is pretty big to run around and do whatever with out getting hurt and I have realistic replica guns and other stuff that is awesome and makes you think and feel like your are in a real battlefield and a real navy seal or special forces operator running around clearing houses and getting into realiofire fights with a exact replica M16 and a replica m4 I have and two hand guns that have holsters on your side and a knife as well for stabbing ppl in the game and I have a realistic exact replica 50 cal sniper riffle to it's so much fun playing occulus inwosh I could have this equipment for me and a few friends to have this at home. I have a huge it room that runs my full smart house and my gigantic golf simulator that is the exact same one off the golf channel and my it guy who does all the work for me said I can put what ever else I want on it and it still won't be close to being over loaded I have a insane iracing simulator setup running off of it so I could run this exact same system they have here for occulus

Tip: the uniform that is on the body might feel pain. A youtuber had a vr headset that can feel pain

The biggest issue here is that the trackers are hella heavy, and the headset tracking is almost jiggly.. Super disorientating.
