this guy has passion for what he does and it shows on his face before the actual result on the car(s). So for those detailing masters who only like to leave negative comments, just deal with your own poo.
I don’t get the hate and toxicity in the community, the car looks good, not perfect but it is what it is, not every detail is going to be 100% perfect, this guy is been doing this for a long time and showing us techniques and useful stuff, just stfu and enjoy the video man wtf, nobody cares who copied who, also there is channel call MAD DETAILS that just started, awesome detailer, lest just support each other.
Hi Luke. Been awhile since you've made a video so its accepted the less than perfect on camera performance. Then again, these are all teachable moments. Just glad to see you back in the action!!!!
Can I just say, I absolutely adore how thoroughly you clean the seats, and also how carefully, WITH HOT WATER, too? I appreciate that. Thanks for this upload! You’ve got a new subscriber 😋
It’s amazing all the arm chair quarterbacks critiquing the job you are doing. If only you had 10 years experience and using dozens of tools and products and techniques over the years to have a grasp on what works well and what doesn’t lol. Great video again looking forward to more.
Nice work Luke. Not sure why all the hostility in the comments. You did a nice turnaround of a hammered car in what looks like really good time. Keep up the great work and don't play to the haters
That suede was so sastisfying. I like how you used the drill to get in between. For the carpets use the drill brush. You can try fabric softner to loosen the debrees amd fibers. Lmao when I worked at a MINI cooper dealership we had horrible carpets, we used interior dressing and it loosened the fibers then used a tornador then vacuume . its What i do to my subaru too and honda since.. Cheap carpeting. But i know priuses and corrollas are THE WPRST. Fabric softner or dressing with tornador worked like a charm. Takes like 30 minutes for carpets alone but gives best results.
Can’t make everybody happy Luke 🤷🏼♀️ I do agree it’s a lot like Mitch of detailgeek’s videos which I love, but everybody has a different method to get the end result so I enjoy seeing different options to use when doing a detail job and the order of steps you use that might differ from someone else. Love the business and communication skills as well as tricks/tips videos the best where it feels like a 1 on 1 lesson from you though. Keep up with those and the product reviews/suggestions! Thanks Luke!
Yessir, I like his videos as well, hence why I did this one this way :D Of course I will continue to come out with videos that teach and hit on certain products, but as Picasso said, Good artists copy, but great artists steal. I would be a fool to disregard something when I see not only that it works, but that it is also great
@@gtbigdog3507 That's actually a great point. With free content there is no way to filter through the people you will get commenting, hence the nature of comments on youtube
Can’t use it on every detail lol I know with Camry interior it’s got a weird vinyl rubbery feel too it. Needs a dressing that leaves a matte finish... although I am curious to why all the youtube detailers don’t use xpress wax on video anymore 😒 it really is some awesome stuff
Fantastic question and difficult to answer unfortunately. Luckily this month Ill be posting some videos on a new technology that will answer that question very simply!
Wilson, watch the Detail Geek. he does good work.. you do as well . I've own and run a house cleaning business for about 24 years now .. prior to that I did auto detailing for a short time. it's a lot of work.. perhaps the carpets on the Camry are cheap and harder to get that deep ground in dirt.. but watch a few videos of the Detail Geek
Yes Ill hook up a link here, it is an APC i've been using for a while now: carguysupplies.com/products/am-details-all-purpose-cleaner-detailers-kit?_pos=4&_sid=773ba29f5&_ss=r&&sca_ref=81744.8ziesp8ma9
Detail TH-camrs are in a tough spot these days. Even if you've been around for a while and have developed your own style and methods, you're sort of forced to change. Because of the success of a couple channels and the particular format they have popularized. Then you get accused of copying and/or not doing a good job because you don't follow the popular guy's every move. Anyway I just needed to get that off my chest. Keep up the good work Luke and I hope you and other channels like yours know that you are appreciated for what you did to inform and entertain, long before these other guys took over the space by storm. ✌️
Hi wilson, very good work, I always enjoy watching your detailing video. I have one issue removing swirls on my car paint, I first tried medium cut compound with 8mm Throw DA, it didn’t quite correct it, then tried same compound with flex 3401 forced rotation, not much correction, then I finally tried menzerna heavy cut 400, with Flex 3401, it removed only 30 to 40 % of swirls, i still see much of swirls. Can you advise me on how to correct upto 85% removal of swirls? Should i grab bigfoot mark 2 15mm DA?
Truth be told it is difficult to say in comments because I need more context with the situation. Because paint correction is so subjective and has so many different variables involved it is difficult for me to respond to without giving you an overgeneralized answer
You need to put better effort into your work man that was not good at all. Floors look awful and cup holders are covered in dirt and grime. Better attention to detail man seriously I was not impressed
That new carpet lining Toyota uses is absolute trash, our 2017 Corolla can never be kept clean without the use of a drill brush and its beginning to take a toll on the carpet fibers.
To be honest. I appreciate your content but the end result is just not good man. Carpets are still dirty especially on the edges. Shift boot looks untouched and dusty. The door panels are decent. Cupholders are also not that great tbh. I don‘t know how much u got paid and what the customers expectations were but I wouldn‘t be happy with the result. Maybe it was a hard car to work on. I don‘t know. I just hope that u progress and ur clients stay loyal and satisfied.
There’s drill brush attachments on amazon that aren’t too expensive, also safe for plastic. I use them on cup holders even if it’s just a basic wash. I’d hate to pay and the cup holders still have a bit of gunk.
mbrownie22 Your comment is unnecessary and doesn‘t make sense. Just because I don‘t upload videos of the cars I detail, I have no „credibility“ to judge someone‘s result? Love the vid, Luke. I appreciate these kind of videos.
How do you like that all purpose cleaner?
i wish i could get my camry this clean! great video (even though i’m eight months late) :)
I would recommend you buy a bigger vacuum cleaning end. The smaller end from what I see makes it harder as it takes longer to vacuum :)
Do you typically stem clean when vehicles are in bad shape such as this car
Great job!
What about "must have xpress spray wax" for interior detailing Luke? Was it just sponsored video?
