Hey! Yoni here, I can answer that :). The water is cleaned via ozone sanitization and the built-in filter, but only while the chiller unit is running (and thus circulating and sanitizing the water). Regarding draining the tub, there is no drain hole or mechanism to drain the tub - we opted out of any built-in drain to limit the possibility of leaks, etc. I personally plunge all week and drain it first thing Saturday morning, rinse out the tub, fill it/chill it, rinse and repeat. To drain it, I basically push/tilt it over (kind of like deadlifting the tub lol) and let it slowly pour out, until I can flip it over. Other options are siphoning the water or a small/cheap water pump. As powerful as the ozone + filter are, it is definitely recommended to swap the water out, at least once a week. Chemicals and water treatment products cannot/should not be used, and even if they could - it's like taking a bath in the same water every day! Once you get the routine/process down, it's all very satisfying and enjoyable. Feel free to reach out with any other questions!
Nice video. I had the ice barrel as well and was not a fan. This looks so much better.
Thanks, dude! You know exactly how it is. Loving it thus far. 🙏🏼
How close do you have that to the wall? Wondering how much the tubes stick out before making their turn to the chiller.
Does the chiller need to be on 24/7 to keep the water clean? How difficult is it to drain?
No; it does not. 💪🏼 Haven’t drained it yet so I can’t speak on it yet. Will keep everyone posted on IG when I do. 🎥
