There are two events(can’t remember) that occurred where Lexi tells Damon to leave Stephan ‘cause he’s a “bad influence “ when Damon just wanted to be with his brother. The show started and ended and Damon never told Stefan what really happened and I low-key feel like him killing Lexi was justified. I can only imagine how heartbroken Stefan would have been if he found out what his bestie did. Damon is the better brother cause he didn’t want Stefan to carry that burden and he knew how much Stefan loved her.
Damon was always watching over Stefan , he saw him being a ripper and all. Damon was in a cell for 5 years and Stefan didn’t even try to find him. If the roles were reversed Damon would have found him.

OMG THANK YOU! Someone finally said it: Damon is the better brother! And one thing I want to add is that Stefan only got interested in Elena because she was the copy of Katherine and, even after dating for weeks, he never told her they looked alike. When Damon met Elena for the first time, the first thing he said to Elena was "you look..." implying he wanted to tell her "you look just like this ex girlfriend of mine." Of course there was no time to explain everything, but if Elena and Damon dated first, he would've told her immediately. In the first season he was the villain and totally obsessed with Katherine and he fell in love with Elena only after they bacame friends and only after Katherine betrayed him. Stefan "fell in love" with Elena only after stalking her for a year.

Exactly, Stefan always pretended like he had better intentions than Damon, when Damon was always upfront with what he wanted and what he was doing and Stefan hid his true intentions.

​@@LavallaisPictureshe didn't even love katherine and of course he didn't tell her because she will think it's because she was because she looked like his ex and damon was the one who fell in love with her because she looked like katherine he met her first but he didn't pursue her because she wasn't katherine and he was still obsessed with katherine but it was after katherine dumped him then he went to elena because she looked like katherine why didn't he pursue anyone else and the reason stefan was watching her is to make sure she wasn't katherine. Damon was actually the one stalking her sneaking into her room at night to watch her sleep whit his crow watching her how many times has Damon hurt his brother I get why people ignore all the bad things damon does it because he looks really good so they are jus crushing on him
