Lina Khan is absolutely brilliant in the literal sense of the word and quite possibly the best person to have done her current job. This is FAR from the end of her doing great work on behalf of innocent consumers.
Lina Khan is an amazing person. Joe Biden did a great job of surrounding himself with talented folks. Many are true superstars like Lina khan. I can’t wait to see what’s next on her journey. 💟💟☮️☮️ PS, loved that you asked her about running for office. Maybe after getting some rest she’ll reconsider. 🤞🤞🤞
I’m just one person, obviously, but I have made a commitment to exercise my limited economic power much more judiciously across the board. So, buying direct from retailers when possible. Researching what those retailers are doing and who they are supporting - America or oligarchy. Still spending but more thoughtfully. Tired of supporting the worst and richest among us. Life might be less convenient and cheap, but it is something I can do. And in buying less but better, it all equals out. I’m really tired of these people showing no fidelity to Americans who have made them so disgustingly rich at the expense of the rest of us. Throwing their millions around when so many are struggling. It’s arrogant to a sociopathic degree, to be honest. Again, I’m just one person, but I have a choice, so I’m going to use it while I can. So far, it feels really good to be a little more defiant with my wallet. Thank you for your work to put democracy into practice, Lina.
Thank you both for great interview. One suggestion for future, do same work, only from ground up... effective organized advocacy. People must put pressure on gov.
Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Everyone should have BTC in their portfolio
It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot Elizabeth Jacob! Imagine i invested $20,000 and received $80,500 after 14 days
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like Elizabeth Jacob.

Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
This was very illuminating! I'd love to see a deep dive into how big tech has taken over and restructured public education. Sorry if you've done this and I somehow missed it.
Can the government stop it? She says yes. I think statistically the fines were never enough even had you been able to do more of them across the board. You would want to stop it first and then go from there. Then some small monopolies could work with balances perhaps. But yeah it got out of control fast, whatever you guys want to call it. Probably needs a new definition? Not late stage capitalism and it’s not quite an oligarchy but that is closer.
@@writerchick94 I don’t know any. But I’m just assuming monopolies are inevitable at this point and that if they had to be here it would have been nice with checks and balances.
@Roguerebel297 the point is they are not inevitable and there is no way to have checks and balances when monopolies exist. Not allowing them IS the check and balance. There is no such thing as a small monopoly because a monopoly by definition means they've taken control of the entire market for a product or service. There is no small version of that.
@Roguerebel297 I'm not saying they don't have power. They do and that's the problem. What I am saying is that 1) they are not inevitable and 2) there is no such thing as a small monopoly
@@writerchick94 I just think with how hard the FTC had to fight to get the wins it feels pretty inevitable like they just find a loophole regardless of any ‘repercussions’ they face. Also if they gained this much control when we had Lina I don’t want to think about when she won’t be here..
This was a great interview. I hope she is able to come back to her amazing work for the people.
Thank you Lina for all you did. You were a person of few that gave hope of righting this financial gap ship.
Thanks for all you've done for the American people, Lina! Sorry to see you go!
Love Lina!! More of her ❤❤❤
Thanks, Lina! So sad to see you go. Best FTC chair I’ve ever seen. One of the most impactful officials I’ve seen in administration in years.
You know you did a great job when corporations are calling for your head. Thanks for your continued hardwork on the FTC.

Lina Khan is savvy and brilliant. Her physical voice sounds so much like AOC
Losing Lina Khan is honestly one of the more devastating parts of this past elections =/
And Buttigieg.
Kudos to Jon for trying to get Lina to commit to running for office. 😅
Gonna miss Lina Khan the most when the Biden admin leaves🫶

Good interview and great questions asked by Jon.

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.

Elizabeth demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
Smart Lady.
We're all better for her work.
She's aware enough to avoid political office too?
Smart Lady.
The ad breaks are getting kinda excessive guys
She is what we need
Another solid sender, thank you!
I quit Amazon over 10 years ago. Bezos sucks.
What would it take to break up Amazon like breaking up the Bell Systems in the 1980s?

I already miss Lina Khan.
Lina Khan can and should play herself in a movie. I say should because apparently, the American people can't focus on anyone who isn't a "celebrity."
Lina!!! ❤
::: insert a hero's welcome, here :::
YOU WILL BE MISSED - THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING FOR ME, FOR US!!

can you name a "small monopoly"?
