I just met MDR some days ago, and instantly fell in love with this song, Camellia did an incredible work Now that I did this level in normal (first time)... Wow, the difficulty of this in hard is really grand!! This was 11 months ago but congrats on the FC!!!! It's amazing to see your skill =)
Anyone else hate those times when they expect you to dash in the middle of a homing attack string? I mean it's one thing when it's visible right away, but those ones that happen after a couple in a row. Like come on.
Hehe. Getting the forst 100 beats is key to getting s+ in any level. At least for me. I find its easiest to get it right off the bat and just get through the levels after it before 150 beat count hits.
@@yf0x32 yep, that was the same plan I had. If I goofed with the first 100 notes, I just started the level over. Personally my least favorite track gameplay wise is Dancing Wind because beginning takes its time to get to the notes.
I'm curious, do you pay more attention the beats and watch the bar at the bottom while memorizing the actions needed for the obstacles? or do you memorize all of the rhythms of the inputs and keep your eyes on the obstacles
I actually do a bit of both. The beats eventually get ingrained in yer ear and finger muscles so ye can switch focus when ye need to. Peripheral vision helps with it too so when yer focusing on one thing, ye can somewhat see whats going on everywhere else. It also helps to be a bit further from the screen so yer field of vision is wider.

@@Yoshistar81 ye can skip the red notes all together if yer having trouble with it. And if im not mistaken, ye can just hit the last red note in the series. What usually works for me is trying to get the first 100 notes. Memorizing that first 100 comes a long way in getting S+. After that, its pretty much just getting to the end before the note count drops below 150. Doesnt matter how many times ye die in between, as long as ye get the 100 combo and get to the goal before then. Tho on the later stages, trying to minimize death would be optimal.

Thanks! So what id do first is familiarize myself with the beat patterns at the sound check. And then id use the track on an easier stage such as 1-1 or 1-2 just to get familiar with using different buttons while going through the stage. Then when id actually do the stage, my target would first be to complete the stage to familiarize the layout, then complete the stage without dying or getting the first 100 notes (this ensures an S+ as long as ye finish it with more than 150 bears left). And aside from that, practice is yer best friend. Itll take some time getting used to, but keep at it and ye will get there! Id also suggest doing the fast songs as itll help with yer reaction times! Have fun!

how on EARTH does the jump at 2:45 work? I've been trying it over and over and I can never get the lock on, it feels completely random every time it works. Is there some consistent setup I'm missing?
It actually depends on how ye get to that point i find. I couldnt get it consistently on other songs. It feels more consistent if ye happen to land on a white note instead of a red methinks. (Not sure if this is correct, ye can play test to see, but i think ye get a little more height if ye land on a white note insteas of a red, which enables ye to lock on properly). If yer having trouble, ye can check my mad last world full combo for a more consistent way of jumping through that part even without a lock on.
