I'm so excited to finally share this with you! My autumn project is finally coming to fruition. I filmed this video over a long period of time. I started designing washi tapes and notepads in September and slowly started adding new elements to my shop, like tote bags and keychains. I worked super hard to prepare this launch, but I'm also aware there is a high chance that things don't go perfectly according to plan. Hopefully I won't encounter too many complications when the shop open. But i'm excited for you to see all that I've made! Cheers to new beginnings 💕

A few years ago, I had the same feelings as you when watching other shop opening videos.

Wow this is definitely the most wholesome video I have seen about selling on Etsy, your designs are beautiful and well executed, I read a comment that said they're too anime and absolutely not. Oof I've been wanting to do the same thing with my art, but I get so anxious about contacting suppliers or... I don't even know where to begin or how to even make the products. Are you not scared about the knife? My teacher almost cut of his finger!
I tried rubbing the knife with my hand and found it quite safe. Just be careful when you're about to pull the knife down, making sure there's nothing other than paper under the handle 🤣

Your products are beautiful! Congratulations opening your business 🩷 I’ve been working on designs to start my own stationery business but I’m struggling with printing the right colours😱 what settings do you use for printing? X
Yeah, I struggled with that part a lot too, so much sympathy for you 🤣 I have studied many video tutorials on color correction of prints to match the original.
I think this depends on many factors, like the printer you are using, the ink, the paper to print on and your drawing. Therefore, each artist's settings will not be the same. I think the key is to find the material and setting that works for you.
For me, I use Photoshop and change the Levels, Color Balance and Selective Color sections to suit my drawing.

May I ask where did you print your totes to get that soft but vibrant colour? I love how the size is smaller and chic, and I love the zipper because so few tote bags have them!
I printed it at a local factory near where I live and they're not very popular.
That's right, I also prefer a tote bag with a zipper and I think you guys will like that too. That's why I ordered them made.

I sell products that I think you guys will like and products that I can safely ship to customers. It can be more diverse depending on whether you want to sell it or not. And I will make more product as soon as I check it is almost ran out.

where did you get your tote bags done , they look fabulous and i like the fabric they used ... I need to do some with my designs o them for my store as well , ohh and where do you get your washi tape made . I cant seem to find anywhere .
As for the tote bags, I work with a local shop to make them, which are canvas.

I think you need to find a good keychain printing factory near where you live, I believe there are many beautiful keychain printing factories. Because the factory I print at is a small local factory and they don't ship overseas 😂

You can use Shopify to create a website, I find it quite easy to use. I actually asked my husband to create the website, so I'm not sure about that 😂

How to do back to back printing? yours is perfectly aligned
It's not as perfect as you think! It was off by a few millimeters, and I printed it wider to cut deeper in a balanced way. Luckily it looks perfect 😊🌼
