Eyedea was one of my mother’s close friends, I have tons of stories about him :) he even tagged the wall in her old closet which is mine now. I never knew him but I feel like I do. Him and my mother had many of the same struggles.

My dad's memorial service was yesterday, I got clean for the last time in March of this year, quit methadone (160) and Fetty cold turkey, almost died and came back home to live with my family. My dad passed away and I was clean... That means more to me than anything in the entire world.

before i discovered Eyedea i listened to rock and metal and when i discovered Eyedea my mind was blown away how good this Rap is and what more good genre's is out there i m a huge Eyedea fan now and i enjoy his music the only thing that bothers me a bit is that this multitalented Legend Passed Away too soon :/ but we would always listen to his music like he is Never gone

Chris Wise suboxone for me was a spiraling safety net that drew my heroin relapses higher and higher until I was shooting half grams of fent laced high purity tar and qgs of carbofent laced tar waking up on floors to terrified friends, waking up in running vehicles to confused drivers. I by all means of aspect should be dead more times than I have fingers. I see people oding, dying or nodded out on the streets weekly to monthly and share in my network to let people know just how Srs shit has gotten. I’m glad that your suboxone treatment has been a sucess. So has my wife’s. I wake up dopesick daily before my red horn kratom dosed kicks in and prepare her daily suboxone dose for boofing. I wake up sick daily and hold the “cure” in my hands rip the strip in half and prep it to liquid form, Taste the bitter orange drops on my fingertips. But I refuse to let it break me. Going back is certainly death as I know my people regent test for purity AND fent analogues. I’m not here to diss your sucess, just saying that isn’t the route that works for all of us. Honestly I’m proud of you. Very proud that your making the choices it takes to kick opiates. People try to compare this addiction with other drugs but in reality they all compare to a high dose physical opiate dependency. And believe me I’ve tried virtually every drug you’ve know and never heard of for great lengths of time. Just gonna day that kratom for me, much like cannabis, was about finding the right strain and supplier. In the end I saw friends clean 4+ years off smack, subs, done and had to accept that my schepticism was questionable and they may be right. Cheers
