    Really enjoyed your camp in Newport last week and had a lot of fun. It definitely reinforced the concepts in your videos. Highly Recommended!!

    thanks for providing these coaching videos! watching the tournaments, I love tyson's inside out forehand drive , usually slightly crosscourt shot down the line towards the add side of court. Maybe you can do an instructional video showing a couple of those shots.

    Great video, thanks. I have heard that some pros will sometime favor a bounce over a volley dink (even if they have to move slightly) to remove some of the spin on the ball. Is that true?

    Great video Tyson! Question....How do you decide between a top spin vs slice FH volley dink?

    • @TysonMcGuffinPickleball
      @TysonMcGuffinPickleball  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You should only use spins if you have time. If you have time and are consistent hitting lift dinks with time then use a little trial and error with spins and see where you get the biggest gain.

    It seemed like you did a lot more half volleys than taking a step back. What situations do you decided to half volley? I’ve never gotten used to half volleys when dinking so I either dink volley or take the step back. Do you only half volley when you are lifting?

    I am not really seeing the difference between a push and a lift with you two. Can you explain the difference?

    • @TysonMcGuffinPickleball
      @TysonMcGuffinPickleball  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Push- more depth, offensive, intent and purpose
      Lift- neutralizer, shallow, Margin for error, shape and used when someone is pushing at you

      All sports are “just” for fun and building your skill set is a huge part of the fun and satisfaction whether working on basketball shooting skills or Pickleball strokes.
