This is a change but I like the idea, tbh I feel the audio aspect of dbd is slept on a lot and I’m glad that there are people like you who highlight these aspects and introduce them to the player base.
As a Trickster main, thank you so much for giving Trickster's menu theme the love it deserves. Loads of people hate it to the point where it feels lackluster, but I think it does suit him. However, there is a version out there that has something extra added, which was removed in the final version. Worth to check out too.

I really liked the more energetic themes like The Hillbilly's and Trickster's, though I never really stopped to listen to or appreciate the more subtle ones or ones that focus more on tension. I feel bad seeing how much I underappreciated a lot of these. Your commentary also really shows how attentive you are to the work and actual skill that goes into making music. This is great stuff! They are the *only* ones I've seen that just explain the power and isn't 18+ minutes long. They are *so* helpful and genuinely the only guides I've seen that weren't absolutely everything top to bottom about a killer, their builds, etc. You're awesome!

i found it very entertaining that you knew a lot about music and what instruments were used! would you consider checking out musics that are for certain characters? like say the armoured and warhammer titans legendary outfits for oni and spirit from attack on titan? there’s also the modern tales collection, resident evil survivors, attack on titan survivor outfits, alice in wonderland collection and finally thalita and renato i believe!

Yeah I personally quite like the Tools of Torment chapter. I see the downsides to the killer but overall I like the idea and have been enjoying playing the skull merchant.
I really like Deathslinger's because I started the game when he came out,it feels pretty nostalgic😅 It's almost if it would be the main theme of dbd for me,S tier on my list😁
I really hope, if you ever redo this list, you include the skin-exclusive menu themes, those being Baba Yaga's Modern Tales Collection theme, the Titans' Attack on Titan Collection theme, and the upcoming Alice in Wonderland Collection theme belonging to the Artist's Ultra Rare skin (my assumption being the Jabberwock). The Attack on Titan killer theme is my personal favorite menu theme in the game, after all, so I really hope it's included.

It does play multiple times throughout! It plays straight away at the start in the bass line. And the main melody plays an outline of the theme. It does play others times aswell.
The Clowns menu music will always have a special place in my heart because when I first got DBD that chapter had dropped. I think I bought dbd specifically because of the Clowns menu music i was hearing on someones livestream. S Tier The Demogorgons will always be special to me as well because my son loves the song and it has a nice 80s vibe to it. S Tier

I can hear the DBD theme for all of the menu music, EXCEPT the Knight’s. Does his music have the DBD theme? It would seem very strange if he was the only one that didn’t have it. I can’t hear it for the life of me.😓😓
Yeah it does have the dbd theme, its just subtle. It's played straight away in a low bass instrument and it's also outlined in the filtered brass instruments' accenting.
Demo has the best menu theme in dbd it is the perfect menu theme and I feel like everyone can agree and hot take but nemesis’s menu theme is better than wesker,s

I'd put ghostface menu theme A or top B tier. His theme captures Danny's character perfectly
I'd put Ghostface in B simply because his music in unique and doesn't follow the common 4 beat dbd theme

A tier imo. Fits his lore perfectly with him being a mentally unstable genius that writes stories where he is the killer
Pyramid Heads theme at around 16 seconds plays a leitmotif from the Silent Hill games OSTs and is one of the reasons I love it so much.
I love pyramid head's theme it perfectly symbolises there being 0 hope

Skull Merchant is a downright bad killer, but her menu theme is just so amazing.
Dude the hillbilly’s music is so nostalgic to me. I remember as a kid that when I found this game scary, the music was terrifying to me.

Ghost Face doesn't have the standard DbD theme.
BMFL the clowns chase music uses a instrument called a bassoon. It’s not a brass instrument
