A really great thing with minon units is you can move them after you place them! So if place them down, then hit 2 to go into overlord mode you left click the archer, then right click the archer to where you want him to go you can cram in more things on a smaller buff beam! If you do try this I always left click the ground after so I'm no longer selecting that minon so I don't accidentally tell him to go somewhere else
few tips with summoner, and btw you may think what im about to tell you is an exploit, but its not, and that is, when in overlord mode (which you still havent tried yet, press 2), if you place a minion, and then DO NOT move your mouse even slightly, you can continue to place minions on top of that one, this is useful if you wanna squeeze everything onto a buffbeam, alternatively, you can also move minions, i think if you left click on a minion, and then right click somewhere else, that minion will move there, this allows you to pack in minions a bit tighter since when placing them normally you cant get them as close together as you can if you move them...also spiders and mages are nice support for your archers, just 1 of each per group of minions will add a lot :)
5:48 its not just transcendants youre after here, because if you had the patience and looked through every mythical on the floor here, most of them would be significantly better than any other mythical youve found up to this point, remember youre comparing wave 1 campaign drops to survival drops lol, so if youre struggling for stats id recommend picking some up, btw transcendants start dropping around wave 17-18 on this map, also supremes can even drop here, albeit very rarely (maybe even ultimates, i think ive seen ONE ultimate from this map, granted it was a weapon and was worthless) Edit: i suppose i should consolidate these all into one comment if possible lol, anyways 7:34, yes, quality is far from consistent on maps in this game, especially true the further you get, theres a MASSIVE gap between the floor and the ceiling, so youll find literal fucking garbage that looks like it came from insane nonhc, completely middle of the road pieces, and then psycho bonkers god tier what the fuck drops xD
The level of the buff beam affects the damage, also you can see if a tower is buffed because it gets these red lines coming out of the base of the tower. :D Also the auras get boosted
13:05 - Upgrade the buff beam XD 13:50 - it's boosting the auras too, they count as 'towers' to a buff beam... you figured it out, haha 15:30 - Love how confused you are, haha. One buff beam is upgraded and the other is not, which is why there's such a massive difference in damage between what you're checking there. 19:55 - Hint: reflect beams protect from projectiles 22:30 - So yes, it keeps a certain number of pieces on the ground, and deletes the lesser value ones as the wave goes on. You can increase this number by having more heroes in play. You also may have a setting on that makes it so you only see mythical items and above. Godlies and below will still be on the map but I think you have it set so you don't see it on the side there. Of course if they let thousands of items spawn and stay I imagine that is a massive cause of game lag, haha. 22:55 - technically yes, if you spam pick-up stuff you'll get more mana from it, but I personally think it doesn't matter too much(not worth the inventory nightmare) 24:37 - Pat, minions can move 25:15 - OMG! Pat stacked a tower! But rip those minions that could have just moved over D: and yes, all of them can fit, you gotta learn how to move them XD
After one starring everything you really should switch to a BOOSTER summoner = a summoner that you level up in Flash heal that you need to equip a huntress guardian and a monk guardian. Monk guardian exponentially boosts the range of defenses boosted and the huntress guard boosts the fire rate of towers. That way you can heal stuff easily and farm only armor
Are you against tower stacking scripts? There is one that a lot of people use for this game that let's quite a bit of late game builds become possible since you can fit more on a single 4 du buff beam

Definitely mages, when he gets a good adept all his damage will basically come grom him while minions are just a selfhealing wall for the most part
3:03 the waves scale in difficulty EVERY wave, not just every 5 waves, its just that on every 5th wave theres a big spike compared to every other wave

I leave for the army in a few days, but when I get back I look forward to seeing how far you've come.
If your trying to check if a tower is in range of the buff beam you can see a slight red tingle in the tower if its buffed
