Glad you're touching on the filthiness of ebay, I'm from Slovakia and selling on ebay equates to at least 20% fees not accounting shipping. I'm about to try cardmarket and hopefully avoid this market abuse.

Funny i was looking for Team Rocket sealed boxes on eBay and found a super sketchy one that's listed as sealed. Bid up to $2225 with 2 days left and you can see stickers on the beat up box under the wrap that says $2.77 per pack with a sticker on the wrap saying Open box "now" single pack sale only. Super sketchy could be empty with some amazon shrink wrap....

ESE has strangely been a big hassle for me as well the last couple weeks. Regarding the PSA being in talks with eBay for 3 years, I’m not totally sold the vault discussions started 3 years ago as Nat also spoke to eBay authenticity guarantee early in that part of the conversation too. It could be that the deeper relationship between the two companies started 3 years ago, starting with eBay auth guarantee and eventually the vault piece came into the picture. Not sure what the actual truth is but that was another potential was to interpret that whole thing. I thought of both scenarios while listening just don’t know what the truth is.
I figured maybe 6-12 months, but 3 years out is a lot of planning

PSA is trying to Monopolize the entire collecting experience. From a business perspective you can't blame them, but the problem is consumers always lose in the long run. It seems it's not about collecting anymore, it's just how much market share can you take from everything else, just for the sake of taking it. I don't see PSA as a better product though, even with all these changes. The longer I collect the more I just enjoy the hobby as I did pre 2020. I'll continue to send to CGC, they're not perfect, but they seem to care about collecting and collectors.

If i were you I would slap my eBay rep lol. Got you into a 25 year contract knowing they were already in talks to change absolutely everything. You likely have a window to pull-out if wanted as the terms have changed.
The reps I had when this went down have either moved on or moved up. 25 yrs was really just so that my deal was not indefinite for insurance purposes as I understood it
As a low volume seller, I continue to enjoy sending my cards to CGC for grading. Their prices and turn times are competitive, their representatives are very knowledgeable and willing to dive into niche questions, and their clear slabs pull great value-especially from BIN listings. I understand PSA's position atop the market makes a boycott untenable for many high volume sellers, but your analysis in these videos has helped me feel confident about who I send my cards and money to!
how much does psa cost to send a card?

Centralization of power like this is not good for anyone except for PSA… not a fan of this move by EBay or PSA.
Right? your basically only getting paid out if you can prove that the card was a fake or trimmed/altered to get a payout. So your saying PSA is paying out MILLIONS a year on THOSE card? If that is true....that's not good lol.
