I just subscribed to your channel. I need all the help I can get with my gardening. I've only been trying for 3yrs but there are only a few things that will grow. I'm grateful for all and am sure the produce will increase. I keep saying "next year". love you channel.
Obejrzałam kilkanaście miesięcy temu Back to Eden. Dojrzewałam do decyzji. 2.03.2022 wyłożyłam na swoim warzywniki 7-8 M3 zrębków drzewnych na powierzchni około 70m2. Ludzie pukają się w głowę. 😜 Wierzę w Chrystusa. ❤️ Słowa Paula były dla mnie objawieniem.

No snow on the ground.
No rain throughout the year.
I see a terrible drought coming.
I pray this works.
I raise chickens, rabbits, and goats.
I have been layering all the manure compost bedding from my livestock on top of my entire garden spot.
I have the wood chips accumulated into a pile.
I haven't spread the chips over top of it yet. I don't have enough chips to cover the entire spot. I did do a small area where my fruit trees are.
When I get enough wood chips I'll cover the entire garden.
In the meantime I'm continuing to spread the old bedding with manure mixed in it on top of the garden.
Am I correct in doing it this way?
I have been doing the BTE garden for over 10 years here in the Kansas City area. You are on the right path. I used to do conventional gardening, changed over and even though there have been some things I have had to overcome...overall, the garden is better in every way. This year I harvested 1100 pounds of cucumbers off 2 rows 30 feet long. My tomatoes were just amazing, too! My watermelons are the best I have ever seen...My first garden was in 1963, BTE method is worth the effort...

Awesome follow-up video! Back To Eden Gardening in a nutshell - Well done! BTE Gardens even survive non-gardener care when unattended... I went on an unexpected trip for a family emergency, & left my garden to be hand watered by my teenager (the spigot leaks so I could not use the timer). He watered the first two months I was gone, then left it un-watered for the last two months. Thank God I put extra wood chips down this spring because it saved my fruit trees & grape vines from the Arizona heat. I had tons of grapes and apples when I returned, and a ton of seed to harvest from my annuals. The only stuff that did not fare well was a new area that only had a couple of inches of wood chips so far. This really works! God bless :o)
I would recommend cardboard with the least amount of print to lay down instead of newspaper. Less ink.
Interesting. That mark can go into the forest, and find deep black soil. You go into the deep south. The topsoil is very shallow.
AZ soil is only deep in the forest areas. The PNW has pretty deep soil in the forest. Home builders scrape off all the good soil when they go to build no matter where you live. Oh well, at least we know how to re-build it with wood chips and garden sweat equity. :o)

This speaks volumes as I’ve seen so many people being led by God on the same path.
I enjoyed seeing the back to eden garden done in a large area but find it really useful seeing it done in the suburbs. Looking for inspiration for gardening in the suburbs
44:00 he says Jesus doesn't cut off a branch that does not bear fruit but instead he prunes it. That is a lie. John 15:1 I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful.
You age slower when you eat healthy nutrient dense foods. Your body is not always fighting, but nourished. Most holistic people I know look at least 10 years younger than others.

SIN BRINGS condemnation and death. We don't have to live the life of the prostitute and through christ have been made whole and restored to his bride fully as I learned in Hosea. Jesus covered us with his blood so we don't have to live in condemnation.
We live in a very similar time now as Hosea. There are some lessons to be learned in study of scripture and getting to know our Messiah.
He truly prepares and provides for His children.
Thank you for the update to the original back to eden demonstration garden. It brings me joy and peace hearing about God.
A burning question I have for you is how did your very first back to Eden garden turn out? I know over time these gardens will thrive but I am at step one. Can I expect any success at all this year?
Any symphylans in the garden? Could they be the white wiggly things??

The next problem we will surely face if there is an actual food shortage is protecting your own supply. You mention hunting is 95% of your supply but what happens when people start hunting more and hunger causes people to steal your food. That’s the concerning part. You can grow but how do you protect ??
Now with that said, I think it’s great what you do. I follow you and Paul as well as many others and yes I also agree growing fresh food is both healthy but an enjoyable challenge. Good skills to learn. I do it myself. Have a great day
I've often pondered on these issues. But I've come to the conclusion that if you're under the covering of Christ, He will protect you're food.
