@Saq Lynch I'm an American who has so enjoyed Mark's series on Pakistan, not only that, but this series is number one on my list for his travels. Sometimes politics get in the way of people seeing other cultures in a way that is not true and it takes someone like Mark and his family to open our eyes to the true beauty of a country. Mark has done that with his travels to Pakistan and has shown the true communities of hospitality and the friendly way of sharing wonderful food. Mark is an ambassador of good will and we need more people willing to be open and honest about who we are. ❤

Thank you for showing the true colours of this country. Every country has some issues but the western media has portrayed Pakistan like a no-go land on earth. While I was in Pak, I was fortunate to visit some of the Northern areas and believe me even after 7 years, I can't forget those landscape scenes and that beauty that exists everywhere you go. @Tayyab Babar , This is the best travel by Mark I am following him since 2014 always wonder when he gonna visit Pakistan. The way he was showed love by the locals I was even blown away. Everyone was very welcoming at this lovely community. Noticed how they share all they have when they don't much themselves. May they always have enough. All the food prepared and eaten were that much more flavorful since they were made with love and shared amongst loved ones and neighbors. Thank you for such a humble experience Mark and family.
This man looks like he enjoys his food. Like the Hunza foods. I could live on that. These people look so friendly. No hate or prejudice or racism at all. Sounds like a heavenly place .
Your video's in Pakistan have been a real eye opener for me Mark....what we see on TV is not the real Pakistan....we are led to believe Pakistan is a dangerous place especially to westerners and especially up in the mountainous regions.... but the Pakistan we have seen in these video's is populated by friendly, humble people with big hearts who go right out of their way with their hospitality The food looks awesome and there is nothing that you have showed that I wouldn't love to try
Patrick, Media is not wrong either. Indeed if you go to the mountain areas near Afghan borders (West and North West of Pakistan), then these areas are full of Taliban and absolutely not safe, especially women should forget about it. While North and North East of Pakistan (Gigit, Baltistan, Chitral, Hunza) they are safe.

I have spent time in Mongolia and in the Parvati Valley in India and I really do appreciate the areas where people still make their own butter and cheeses and milk from the yaks and horses, sheep and goats. The flavors of fresh bread baked on a wood fired stove top and chai with fresh yak or mare milk. There is nothing like it.
I always wanted to visit these places but due to the lack of knowledge about the safety and concerns I have not made any progress. Can anybody provide any infos on any tour packages? cheers

you have to be very careful... It is no a joke... Pakistan is one of the dangerous countries for foreigners. Rest the choice is yours... I hope I am not late to reply to you. But think twice before you make plan to visit Pakistan.
At The rooftop of the world...the next stop is the stars. Mark, Ying, Micah and Gill! What an amazing experience, the hospitality and privilege the Hunza people showed you all is to be commended. This region and country an unfairly negatively viewed by the west. You’ve shown with irrefutable evidence that the Pakistani people are gracious, hospitable, welcoming people. Bravo. Thank you

I'm having food envy...and I'm in Mexico where the food is always amazing. I've always wanted to go meet the beautiful people of the Hunza Valley! Now I am really inspired to go. Thank you for sharing this insight into the experience! Looks like so much fun!!
Can anybody provide any infos on any tour packages?
cheers
Most welcome to hunza vally
