What's up I'm RedFalcon and right now I'm playing Mario Party Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. I might play minigames against the Master CPUs, I might play boards against characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi and more?! Is that all of them? We don't know yet! What we do know as that we can play Mario Party Superstars online on boards like Yoshi's Tropical Island, Peach's Birthday Cake, Space Land, Horror Land, and more! When Falcon didn't use his slow dice block to get the 5 guaranteed I screamed
it was good tho because of homestrech
i think he somehow convinced himself it always rolls a 6 because it shows 6’s on all faces in the image but i genuinely had to replay that part to make sure i wasn’t tripping and thought he had a different dice than he did i was losing it
You would think he knows what it does since he's literally seen a custom in superstars
Or the fact that the player in front of him got the SAME dice block and he said aloud "SLOW DICE BLOCK".

The reason your block was moving slower it's because you were the leader during that turn, the leader has it easier during the events btw.

Fun fact: On the Chaos Castle, I’ve actually had a game where we hit the back space on the first part so many times, that the game actually turned it into a green space to prevent us from being stuck there any longer. Not even joking.

@@SpathiCaptainFwiffo Yes, happened in dragoneel map after i farmed draagneel treasure for a bit by moving backwards using the back space, taking the treasure going forward for treasure, and then repeating.

I'm pretty sure if it always rolled a 6 it would be called a _fast_ dice block of all things.
Waluigi losing half of his stars only to get another turn and still have more stars than everyone was the most my heart has ever taken in such a short span of time. Wow! This game is chaotic and a half.
At 22:20 Falcon literally had a slow dice block to get a 5 to steal from Waluigi and he used the normal block instead. I facepalmed so hard.
Edit: Sorry I was in so much shock that he didn’t use the block that at first I thought it was a 4-5-6 block.

Also it was better used for the Homestretch.
play the mario party 9 solo mode if you haven't already, it's a good start to the car stuff and I think you'll like the captain events. also there are more boards that are generally better and if you go to the museum you can choose the vehicle for each board
9s boards are awful, events can just kill half your mini stars through no fault of your own
@@megarotom1590 10’s are the same but there are less of those in 9 also magma mine and bowser station are pretty good and dk jungle ruins is actually perfect for the car mechanic

@@joeyippolito1347 no, only small portions of two of the mp10 maps have mini star killing attacks and neither take up a huge portion of the map, the other maps are much more tame with their gimmicks. Bowser's station is actually my least favorite bowser map in the series, no exceptions

This is so funny to watch because when it comes down to Mario party, I always WATCH the others where you buy stars but I’ve only ever played Mario Party 10 so I’m SO used to this game that seeing people confused feels awkward as I’m too used to it

There was like 10 freaking plot twist on the last freaking 8 minutes of the game.
Mario Party 10 was the first one I ever played, as a lot of my friends had Wii Us before I got into gaming, so the start of my gaming experience was through Smash 4, MP10, and Mario 3d World, among a few other things. The bowser gamemode was honestly one of my favorites, I really enjoyed all the cool player controlled bowser minigames, and that's kinda all I ever played, so when everyone talks about how bad the game is, I never really understood. Now, having played other mario parties, I certainly get that it's different and the others certainly arent the same experience, but I still feel like this game got discounted way too quickly

What about the minigames?
The white stars are called ministars and they give you ministars, and the purple stars are called ztars and they make you lose ministars. When someone lands on a event, whoever lands on it gets an easier opportunity for them to get ministars while still allowing the other players to get some. When someone lands on a toad house, whoever lands on the toad house gets a slower wheel so they can choose what dice block they want. On chaos castle, when you reach the homestretch everyone gets to roll for a dice block but whoever's the captain when you reach the homestretch will have a slower roll. A 1-2-3 dice block lets you roll only a 1, 2, or 3, a 4-5-6 dice block lets you roll only a 4, 5, or a 6, a slow dice block goes slower so you can choose what number you get, a double dice block lets you roll two dice blocks and roll the total amount, a 1-10 dice block lets you roll any number from 1 to 10. When you pass the homestretch on a regular board the player(s) in last will get a slow dice block. Whenever you pass a gate with ministars only the captain gets the ministars. When someone gets an unlucky, lucky, bowser space, or bowser jr space only the captain will get the reward/punishment. (Also this has nothing to do with Mario party 10, but in Mario party 9, but there's a backstory that the ministars are the stars in the sky and bowser steals them all from the sky to be rich and build his own paradise or something and that your goal is to collect all the ministars and bring them back to the sky)

Prefer the classic gameplay over the car one, but the minigames in this are one of the best ones in the series. They are balanced between button only and motion control.

You are allowed to say good stuff about Mario Party 10's Board Games, Bowser Party is different than Mario Party but it's also enjoyable.
Thanks for saying u like this game! Growing up until weekend (hopefully) I’ve only played on Wii U therefore it is my only Mario party game I’ve played I find it fun but now that I know about Mario party superstars I want it!
Party 9 and 10 were so overlooked. 8 and 9 were my childhood. 9 was definitely a fun change. Alot more crazy. My friends and I had a lot of fun
While I'm not the biggest fan of the board game in 9 and 10 because of the car mechanic and the excessive randomness it causes, it can still be pretty fun in its own right so I'm glad you're trying it!
4:02 In these Toad Houses everyone gets a special dice block and the one who was driving the car can practically choose it since the roulette is slow for them. Being the captain is a pretty big concept in these games, even more so in 9.

You should make a little series of Mario party 9 solo mode. It has 6 boards and great bosses in each one. You can also pick any character and there are cutscenes before every board. There are also captain events I think you would enjoy and the minigames are also great. Yeah the cars may not ne the best but it still is a pretty fun experience
9 and 10 boards are the type of gameplay that's fun for 1 playthrough and that's it
