When I go camping, I want to make an open-air cinema in the forest. I also plan to purchase EcoFlow Portable Power Station. The projector and the computer require energy. I have 2 questions. Is there a difference in sound quality between a speaker standing on the floor and one mounted on a speaker stand? For this reason, I was torn between 2 ultimates or 2 310s. What is the sound quality like in a movie watched by an average of 50 people in a forest environment with 2x ultimate on the ground or 2x 310 on the speaker stand, and which one is superior? If you had an open-air cinema in the forest and had an EcoFlow Portable Power Station device, which speaker would you choose?
Just buy 2 710's they will be more than powerfull enough and also cheaper. Trust me i have 2 710's and they are way to loud even outdoors imo. The 310's will be nice since they are the most lightweight and have batteries, but will not have as much output as the 710's or Ultimates if you still want to go with the Ultimates. I think personally the 710 is the sweet spot for the massive sound it outputs trust me and 2 in tws will be more than enough.
my pb1000 is clean but those 310s are so legit just because they hold a 18hr battery charge. so 1 of these at a small 20 ppl even is perfect but 2 is cleaner with the stands too. each have their pros and cons. i love my pb 1000 because i shake the neighbors house since we all have pools and cement no grass so the bass shakes soo much louder inside my house and next door lol but the 310 is a nice buy for sure to mellow out not too loud.

And if you want to sell the 310 for a single bigger unit, just go with the partybox 710. The 710 performs very equal to the 1000 in my opinion and the newer version means you get app support which the old 1000 did not have. And if a single 710 will not do the job which i cannot believe will you can always get another 710 which in my case is way way way way overkill

Bro i think 2 310's will spread sound more equal than just having 1 speaker standing on the side..... the 1000 has more deep bass for getting the earth to move though😜. The 2 310's sound more balanced to me and with just the right amount of bass
You have to press tws on both speakers and takes about 5 sec to pair, or you can use the app to pair them as well then you don't have to go to the back of each speaker to press the tws buttons

Just bose acoustimass 300/ 700 have a 10 inch woofer, but those subs costs "just" 600-700 euros each :))) and from i can heard when i tested both bose and jbl 3.1 side by side, it sounds the same,i played some bass testers and some movie traillers,and all i can say jbl is unbeatable if we talk about value for money. Some peoples tell that the new 5.1 bar doesn't go as low as the 3.1 or 5.1 with surround, because the sub is lighter and hit only 40hz, not 35 hz like 3.1 and 5.1. Only sonos and vizyo elevate soundbars have a slightly better subwoofers than 3.1, but again, these costs 1500 euro for the sonos and 1000 euro for the vizyo.

Great sound for someone that loves huge bass, but neither can keep up with details, the lows just kills the definition of the midrange an highs, defenetively great for party music, not so good for detail and clarity😬.

Al depends on how big the hall will be and how loud you want the music to be. They will never get as loud as big 10000watt pa/dj stuff but they sure pack a punch for their size
I would go with some cheaper alto style pa speakers or harbinger. They are actually cheaper and louder. Not battery powered like the 310s but they do pack some punch.

Also I know my jbl pro audio 18inchers will be way louder than these, but I really want to know how would they stack up against something like jbl stage a190 in regards with bass loudness? I know they not designed for loudness but, I think while being pushed by similar power as the amp of pb1000, and having 4 8" woofer, more cone area, and more cabinet volume, stage a190s would be no slouch either, can anyone give some insight on this?
This comparison is useless... I mean how low a speaker can go is only one aspect of the quality it offers, the loudness and fullness/richness on the given frequency is everything. I have a sub which can hit 16 hz with authority, but not just that, it has commanding authority around 20 to 30 hz, it would blow the bose out of the water. Also you don't need a sub that can dig down to 20hz with music. Even these JBL speakers are not comparable with any PA system speaker for the same amount of money. These speakers are overpriced and for those, who don't really understand how to set up a proper system just going for the fancy stuff with huge marketing behind it. I used to be like this, few years ago I craved for JBL party speakers, later I researched, learnt and realised they are not that good.

I highly doubt 1,000watts, even my Sony Shake X3D claims 1,200watts, but it is comparable with much weaker ones. If they declare 1,000watt rms at the output, that's always less than half, and even less in DIN. Better 2 Bose with 1 300 € with your eyes closed ... also because the low frequencies are the only ones that count the size. And by the way, all in neodymium.

The pb1000 has better low end compared to the 2 310's. The 2 310's had better 45hz and up bass compared to the 1000 but below 45hz the 1000 destroys 2 310's
Had 2 1000's had to sell them for important stuff that happened in my life...... bought 2 710's a month ago and could not be happier, they got way cleaner sound and the bass rollof is not as bad as the 1000
@@rikwilliams388 I think it all depends on a room's measurements and speaker placement as well, but the newer models with app support and of course new firmware build into the speakers just sounds that little bit better in my case. Like i said in my case my 1000's lost almost all bass over 67% volume that made the speakers sound completely different, where in my case the 710's sound much better in the higher volumes. But i think it's just a matter of taste, all Jbl speakers are awesome like you cannot go wrong with any of them😉
i think the 310's are a bit more detailed and rich but the 1000 really kicks with that subwoofer

How does the TWS mode work on the JBL's ? Just to press the TWS on one of them or whats the magic trick.

Yes mine i use aux in and then you can tws them together or use daisy chain in and out if you wanna connect via cable

I have an LG TV with Bluetooth. I can connect one PB310 via this. The other one with TWS. Works like a charm.

Had 2 1000's had to sell them for important stuff that happened in my life...... bought 2 710's a month ago and could not be happier, they got way cleaner sound and the bass rollof is not as bad as the 1000
How odd? I rarely use my 710's for the opposite reason.

@@rikwilliams388 I think it all depends on a room's measurements and speaker placement as well, but the newer models with app support and of course new firmware build into the speakers just sounds that little bit better in my case. Like i said in my case my 1000's lost almost all bass over 67% volume that made the speakers sound completely different, where in my case the 710's sound much better in the higher volumes.
But i think it's just a matter of taste, all Jbl speakers are awesome like you cannot go wrong with any of them😉
