If I am not wrong, Looks like There’s an inadvertent typo in Motivation and Leadership . Calculative-Non-Calculative motivation to lead involves the extent to which an individual weighs the costs and benefits of taking on a leadership role. Leadership has its benefits and its burdens. A person high on non-calculative motivation to lead, doesn’t much consider the costs and benefits.

At 34:50, you say if you give a good grade to a LPC, you are a person/team/relationship oriented leader. But, isn't it important why you give the grade you give. For example, if I give a LCP a good grade bc they are good at completing task but, I consider them a LCP bc they are disagreable and lack soft skills, then am I not a task oriented leader? On hte other hand, if I consider someone a LCP bc they are not good at completing task even though they are very agreable and have very good soft skills, am I not still task oriented?
