Its nice like you said, to taste test the persimmons before buying. I bought a Miss Kim this year without tasteing it and now I keep seeing "not great" reviews for it. Thanks for this!
When I tasted the Miss Kim persimmon, at first I was like it's good but there was an after taste I didn't like, even my husband agreed. I had it in my cart and put it back 😅 the Giombo was one of the best ones 😊 thank you for watching. ❤
Beautiful shots. Big thumbs up 👍 I would like to take a vacation in Virginia to see if I would fit in to live there when I retire. I don’t grow persimmons in my backyard on Long Island. I have to look into it.
Beautiful scenery. What do persimmons taste like? I’m looking to start the fruit section of my garden soon. Thank you for sharing and happy gardening 👨🏿🌾💚
They're all taste different but has like a similarly to a honeydew/cantaloupe. The Giombo is one of the best tasting persimmons i had and after tasting the Miss Kim persimmon I really wasn't a fun of it but taste is subjective. It'll be exciting to add fruit trees to your homestead 😊
@@GardeningWithCoffee I live in Belize, it's probably too hot to grow here, I'll look into it though. A dwarf would be ideal for my small yard space. It's my favorite fruit after mangos!!

@personalspace121 do you know what zone you live in? They're hardy to zones 4-9 depending on the variety.

The leaves are turning yellow because they're about to go on dormancy. Yes they were marked at $48 they were pretty big. Thank you for commenting.
