Looks like it could be a loooong work week if it's all like todays video. Lots more labor in loads like these, but it's all good exercise I suppose. I never minded the LTL loads when they started in Anchorage, Alaska and ended in Houston, Texas. Or visa versa, because they always paid so good. As an owner/operator I got 70% of the revenue and one trip from Houston North I was hauling a BOP and misc valving that was a HOT load for the oilfields on the Kenai, south of Anchorage, Ak and my share was $12,700. Doesn't sound like much unless you figure in that it was in 1970 dollars. Normally it would have gone on a Company truck but Hill & Hill had no trucks in the yard ready for the ALCAN at that time. Best damn load I ever hauled although it was a bitch holding it still with chains. (NO straps in those days) Looks like the new camera set up is a winner to me 👍.
Love the movies. I have a question. What is the purpose of the metal tabs that are bolted to the trailer wheels? Are they there to indicate that the wheels are rotating and not siezed? I guess you can see them in the mirrors?
On a left turn in heavy traffic, I always use the I am bigger than you, so hit me and see how it ends method. Always surprised when they slow down and let me in. Have passionate hate for 4-wheelers. My loads are generally 250K( edited Fat fingers small key board) wide and really long. I love the day in the patch. I remember my days in the patch at the beginning (long ago doing this for 45 years now) of my driving career. The biggest thing I miss was a long bed and gin poles that was a blast
After plowing snow for 12 winter, I can tell you why the put plows out when o ly a skiff of snow comes down. See, there are always those people who get out in their little cars and think their drifting experts then end up wrapped around a light pole and then sue the city/ province for millions. So a couple of grand for plow crews is far cheaper than the price of dozen lawsuits.. Just saying
Yo just be careful with the christmas songs in the intro, would hate to see your channel striked for some bs Edit: new cam angle is sick btw, just a bit wobbly
The new camera mount is cool
I live in rural alberta and only drive the empty highways so when i see you driving in the city or #2 i get stressed out just watching 😅
Yeah, 1st smart person in line yields for a C500 looking sharp. Stay safe.
we got rain. and alot of it. new cam setup is perffff
Most hwy vans now have air released slider pins a special valve won't allow air to the pins unless the trailer is dinamited
Always dig your eclectic taste in music.
You should check out Carpenter Brut and Gunship.

Great sounds with that new camera mount.
New camera angle is cool! even if it's a bit shaky in the bush, it's fun to see you banging gears
Good camera angle
Skiff of snow 20 tons of salt

Usually plastic strip. And it is used to make sure your wheels are turning.

Do you ever see any of the old Cypress trucks rolling around ?
Quick question, how wide is the view angle of your dash cam? Im looking to get one for traffic reasons.
