Really an enjoyable piece of music. However, I can't help thinking that it sounds a lot like the "Judge Dredd" theme (the Stallone version)

The element of necessity as well as finality is the same. However Sly expresses the moral grounds behind the execution of the verdict of condemnation whereas in the case of the former governator, to put it playfully, the stress is solely placed on implementation and execution. Long story short: The end which justifies the means vs. the means to an end, detached from any essence of moralism. Ish...,😉
