Today is a great day for Persona 2 fans. 1) Atlus recognised the duology for being the most requested Persona to get a remake (tied with P3) 2) P2 Eternal Punishment english patch for PSP is out! 3) *It's Tatsuya's birthday* (27th of July)

I might be biased with this but to me, this is the BEST remix of Maya’s theme! I was so glad that they remixed her theme to represent the Persona 2 disc for the 20th anniversary collection! Cause let’s be honest, her theme is iconic and recognizable so it was great seeing her getting the recognition she deserved to represent 20 years of Persona! Also great to hear an extended version finally so thanks MRDW! Here’s hoping we get like a Persona 1 + 2 HD Collection some day! 🤞

I've only played Innocent Sin, but I enjoyed it. The story is a wild ride, so I won't spoil anything. The combat was way too easy for my taste. I only actually fused personas twice in the story, and that was because fights were just taking really long. I was never in any real danger despite being under-leveled. There were a couple of challenging fights, and those were amazing when they happened, but that's about it. But, that said, the presentation of combat is one of my favorite in the series. Melee attacks actually have people move around as if it's an actual battle. There was also the rumor system, where you can change things by spreading different rumors. I didn't use it much because I never felt a need to due to the easy combat. There is no social links or life sim. P1 and P2 are both structured more like traditional JRPGs. All in all, I recommend it if you enjoy JRPGS and Persona. If you've played P1, I especially recommend it, as some of P1's cast come back and there are a ton of small references. P1 is not needed to enjoy P2.
