A round of golf at Unico Grande golf course in Bangkok, Thailand. It's a par 63 executive course that has many par 3s on the back 9.
I'm James, a golfer with a dodgy swing now playing off a 14.8 handicap.
I am in Thailand for the winter & spring and will be back to posting UK golf content this summer.

James, let's be honest. We love when you hit birdies, we love when you hit triple and quadruple.
You are the most positive golfer on YT.
That is why we all love your content.
Last week I was playing with a random guy, and after the first hole he said:
"Triple bogey on opening hole... No drama...".
I looked at him, he looked at me, I asked "You watch James?" "YEAH!"
And we started laughing like maniacs ;-)
"What a difference a day makes,
24 little hours .."

Well done James. Sometimes you just hit a groove and nothing can go wrong. The most important distance in golf is the space between your ears. Keeping that calm shaves shots off a round.

It was weird I couldn't get the +19 out of my head the night after that round. It was crazy to score the best I ever had the day after. Golf is indeed a funny old game! :)

James, my handicap is 5.1 and I shot a 94. I never gave up, I shot 78 the next round.
Much smoother here from shot 1 so no surprises there. You could actually see a bit of tension in the drive. Amazing the number of times that happens when you are called through and you know someone is watching the shot. 🙄 Nice round James and a great watch. Happy days indeed! 🙂 Maybe part of it was getting used to the speed of the greens it's usually easier the second time round I think.

Brilliant James. I'd watched your previous round before this one and it was great to see you come back strong. Playing on consecutive days can really make a difference, although I've only done it twice. Coincidentally, my handicap was 27 when yours was. And quite literally, my current handicap is 14.6, so you're like my pace setter, haha. I've only played 25 rounds in that time due to work and money, but well over 100 at the range on the virtual golf with toptracer. My original aim was an 18 handicap, and I got there with better clubs and a million hours of TH-cam coaching videos. I think we have similar swings and needs in clubs. Let me tell you though, give a Ping G400 SFT a go, they're pretty damn cheap now and possibly the second most forgiving driver ever made (after the new one with the crazy £600 price tag). I am certain it would suit your swing, add even more accuracy and distance to your drives. Anyway, a pleasure to watch you play as always, many thanks.
Thanks for the tip I'll have to try it. Yeah, sometimes the swing is there and sometimes it isn't. Playing on consecutive days really improves my putting as seen in this round. Thanks for watching mate :)

Fantastic! Well played James - I've never had level par over 9 anywhere and don't anticipate it ever. I'm going to watch the next posted video ( the previous day), now, with the schadenfreude dialled up a bit. Impressive beard too.
