Pongal is only celebrated by Hindus,I'm Tamil Muslim myself and I don't celebrate Pongal, Thaipusam and Deepavalee please don't get confused religion and race. 🙏

Take an example of same Tamil muslims ..what if I say ramzan is a festival that muslims and tamils celebrate in the holy month of Quran 🙄 will that be okay for every muslim in the world irrespective of their nationality and mother tongue 🤦🏻♀️ it's a big NO they won't agree with my above words coz ramzan is an islamic thing irrespective of language nationality and race ..same goes with the pongal festival dude .. just because some people call it as pongal and other some people call it as sankranthi won't change anything other than language here ..so you can't say sankranthi is different and pongal is different and both won't belong to same religious practice coz name people call it is different..i hope you got my point ..peace ✌️

Tamil can be both language and ethnicity. Not all Hindus in Malaysia are Indians.
