There's just no real good reason to add saffron to chocolate. The only reason to add it is to make their chocolate the most expensive in the world and gain free media coverage as an advertising tactic, since saffron is extremely expensive. Other than that, saffron does not make the chocolate taste better, similar to gold leafs, that people use to try to make their chocolate the most expensive too.
