  • Hello Friends! I have made quite a few videos with mokume gane technique. Actually I have a playlist with it. One thing about this technique is that it very unexpected results. You can play with colors, the thickness of each layer, the thicknesses of the slices. You really can go wild with it and everyone can pull it off. Hope you enjoy this easy tutorial.
    The game that I am referring to with the shapes of the countries is called Worldle. You should try it!
    Products used
    Sculpey polymer clay: pearl, white, black and translucent.
    Cernit translucent: sapphire, bordeaux, violet
    Amazing Clear Cast Resin

    I love that you used the translucent. It gives the colors a lot of depth.

      Thanks Maggie! Isn't it interesting thought how different background with the translucent clay can give such different outcomes?! Its fun to experiment, that's for sure! Thanks for tuning in, my friend!

    Hi my sweet glitter sister 🙂 These pendants are gorgeous!!! I love the makume gane technique and these colors are gorgeous!!! I think the ones with the pearl background is my favorite because all the colors really pop with the light background and I love the sparkle of the pearl!!! I am going to get some of the cernit translucent colors and I was wondering which ones are your favorite colors and if you have tried their sample pack with all the colors? Big hugs my friend 🙂

      Thank you glitter sister! I think my favorite translucent as of now is the Bordeaux and turquoise but I really love how amber came out in that one pendant with the Bordeaux. Hugs

      @@joannascorner4478 I finally got around to ordering some of the Cernit. I got several of the regular translucent and I also got the starter pack that comes with 1 each of all 13 colors. I just got it yesterday so I am going to try them all and see what happens. LOL. I will let you know what kind of an experiment with all the colors that I come up with!! LOL. 🙂Big hugs my friend...

    Do you sharpen your blades or just replace?

    • @joannascorner4478
      @joannascorner4478  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Terri! I did not know that you could sharpen them and I am still using the same blade I got probably 5 years ago. Is there a way to sharpen them? Please do tell!!
