- Well it is finally maiden time for the FMS A-10 THUNDERBOLT V2 70MM TWIN. As I predicted the FMS A-10 THUNDERBOLT V2 70MM TWIN flew as well as it looks and went together. There were a few minor glue issues but nothing a little tlc cant fix. Love the look and performance of the FMS A-10 THUNDERBOLT V2 70MM TWIN. This A-10 has a big presence in the air! I am a happy Fat Guy!!

Hope you enjoy it! Check the retract mounts, both mine cleanly out because of not enough glue. easy fix. Also I noticed little change in flight performance with or without missiles.

Excellent maiden, I have wanted to order one, but I don't like the idea of having to remove the wings to take it out to the field.
I dont know what you drive but i drive a full sized pick up and she fits just fine in the bed.
I assume nose wheel uses its own servo. Add a 7th channel, make nose servo master, rudder slave. Use std throws on master, reduced on rudders.
(Radiomaster is so much easier to program. I actually had to think on spektrum)

Yes after you have flown a few smaller edfs like the Eflite a10 would be perfect before this one.

In your opinion is it comparable to the freewing A-10 in terms of quality ?
I cant compare I do not own the FW a-10 but compared to other FW models I own it is on par with them.
When you flip your flaps on ,where is your throttle at ? I slow my planes down a little first below 1/2 throttle so it floats in nicely without a lot of elevator mix . Was wondering how you do it? What a awesome bird. Love it I’m jealous
My flaps are on my D switch just to the upper left from my throttle.
