Ahhhh, I was screaming when Takechi pulled out a pistol. When they started fighting with swords in the beginning, I was praying that we would get a fight with different styles later. Too bad we couldn't get pistol only + fists but I'm glad it wasn't just swords.
When he pulled out the pistol and adopted a Wild Dancer stance I knew what I had to do. Love how this is reminiscent of the matching of styles when fighting Shibusawa.
I like how every phase of this theme has a bit of other yakuza songs in them 1st- I think Battle for the dream or for faith 2nd- Fly 3rd- A Scattered moment
It doesn’t. Why do people literally try to find other songs in themes. Yes yakuza has done it but not that often. These days every single yakuza video I click on has “this theme has bits from x” and they’re usually just wrong lmao.
I think it's fishing for likes, they wanna say something funny is all, people comment for attention really, saying something with depth is hit or miss for commenters.
This is both my favorite final boss and final boss music of the franchise I've played so far (everything but Lost Judgment, First of the North Star, the two Kuroyho games, and Y7 LAD). I am actually for most of the music replacements in Ishin Kiwami, but I am SO GLAD that they didn't replace this with a mix of Two Dragons to go with the recast. It's a damn masterpiece.
I like that every theme that uses a yakuza standin now has a rearrangement of their original theme. While it starts out differently, at 1:10 it does match up nicely with 'two dragons'.

@@yamatoko219 Some people have pointed out that it in fact may be the other way around. That the reason the two tracks have similar sounding moments is because Two Dragons in 0 was a partial remix of Assassination of Bodhisattva in Ishin instead.
@@yamatoko219 It's just a theory. Some people think it might be, but RGG has said nothing. If they did intentionally remix it, maybe they just liked that part of theme and decided to bring it back for 0's final boss as well.
@@rabbss830 spoilers I guess, but the original actor looked a lot more like the photos we have of the real life Ryoma. Part of the plot is Takechi taking Ryoma’s identity, so visually it made far more sense for Takechi to look like his original actor, not Shibusawa. There’s even a nod in the game to a real life photo of Ryoma that’s actually Takechi posing as him, trying to tie in their fiction with some real historical aspects. Both act the part fine, but the original actor had the intensity and look for Ryoma far more.

I still can’t get over the fact they scraped the acts of the incredible actors of the original game’s Isami Kondo and Takeshi Hanpeita, Shibusawa and Adachi can’t even dream to get closer in the act
